I'm trying to shine light through a mesh like a lamp shade.

So the idea was to bake the lightmap to a simple plane, turn off auto generate and rotate the plane so that the light would be visible from the other side.

But apparently this doesn't work cause the lightmap becomes shaded when rotated, as seen in the images.

So shouldn't the rotated plane still show the light that was mapped?
Also how would I go about this instead then?
