I have a camera setup involving a framing transposer and another script that manipulates the vcams rotation. I found an older post that mentioned this setup (https://forum.unity.com/threads/combining-framing-transposer-with-free-look-vcam.505836/) though my planned use case is a bit different.

This setup works great when the damping values on the framing transposer are set to 0. I'd like to increase the damping values, but when the damping is greater than 0 rotating the vcam causes the camera to look away from the follow target while rotating. Rotating around the y axis makes it seem like the camera is focusing on a completely different spot than the follow target.

Is there some way I can alter my setup such that while the camera rotates the follow target stays roughly in the same spot in the screen? The follow target may or may not be moving while the camera is rotating.

    Thanks!

With the current version of CM, that will be difficult. The Orbital Transposer can do it, but not the Framing Transposer. We will look into adding damping bypass support to it. In the meantime, can you compromise with a low damping value?

Yeah I can get by with a low damping value for now. Thanks.

@Nanmu FYI this feature will be in the next release of CM. It's pretty sweet :D
