Question Root transform rotation problem

    Hi, I'm experiencing a problem with the rotations of many of my animations,
    To explain my problem picture this two animations for lifting a body. They both end with the character on the arms of another in exactly the same pose:

    Yet, the second one, introduces a rotatioin error that after blending leads to a 180 unwanted turn:

    I've tried baking the rotation into the pose, using offset, using both original root rotation and body orientation. I even tried turning the character 180 degrees after the animation had ended (wich not always works). I'd like to know how can I correct this error either in Unity or in Maya. I can't find a way to solve it.

    just a guess: have you tried different starting orientation?

    Hi, thanks for the suggestion, I think I have, but I'm gonna double check on Monday.
