Hi, I am having an issue with a transition between two root motion animations. Basically, as you can see in the gif if I transition to the climb up animation while the character is shimmying, the root jerks over to the right and this causes the character to move to the right unnecessarily in-game. The first animation is obviously moving the root because it is shimmying, but the second animation starts from a dead hang, so I don't understand why this happens? I would like to be able to transition without this jerk. Intuitively, I would imagine there would be some small movement during the transition as the first animation tapers off, but not the amount I am seeing. Any fix for this, or at least an explanation?
