Rocking Pilot - released on Steam - deflect the bullet hell!

Today, we announce that Rocking Pilot, twin-stick shooter is launched on Steam.

We started working on this game few years ago using ActionScript 3, Flixel and HaxeFlixel, but eventually we switched to Unity. It didn't take so much time to port the original source code, but after that when we decided to add more content it was a bit harder because everything was done through code, and not so much through editor. This was definitely not a good choice, and in our newest project we are using Unity in the right way, and it is so much easier!

The main reason why we made this game is because we are big fans of 2D shmup genre, with Geometry Wars, Metal Slug, and some newer games like the ones from Vlambeer being our main inspiration! We hope you will find our game interesting, and if you do, we would really like to hear your impressions and feedback! Description follows.

Rocking Pilot is a single player top-down shooter that combines combo high score chasing, fast-paced arcade gameplay, a heavy rock soundtrack and crazy weapons into one awesome package.

Standard propellers are replaced with deadly ROTOR BLADES that chop down tanks and soldiers to pieces. Activating the Overdrive makes your helicopter an immortal machine of destruction: fly & chop through swarms of enemies while deflecting their bullets back at them, or use your own arsenal of guns, rocket launchers and lasers. Mayhem guaranteed. Shoot, blast and slash through hordes of enemies.
