I wanted a photo-realistic river asset that I could drop into ANY Unity scene and have it instantly adapt to the terrain, lighting, etc, and correctly render a realistic water flow, with banks, shores, etc. For a VR project, I needed it to be fast and ALSO look very realistic/convincing (in VR it's painfully easy to see if water is fake).

I also wanted to move it around instantly in the Editor, with the terrain being restored immediately, so I could try different shapes of river, different positions and widths in my scenes, and see which I liked the best. Most of the assets I found were very slow to update - you had to press a button and wait - which made iterating very slow and painful. And some of them permanently overwrote the terrain.

So I built my own, and it's almost useable now. I'll start posting features/videos as I get the demo scenes working and polished.
