    Hello!
I'm trying to make a 2D platformer but I'm experiencing some weird behaviour.

The player object starts with a bit of a fall (2 units) but it falls to the ground. Then when I move off from that ground it starts falling with the speed of light moving like a 1000 units down on the Y-axis. The global gravity is on default, as well as the object's own component gravity is on default. The first fall it has when it's spawned it works correctly but after it seems like the gravity is still being added on the player and when I move off from an edge all the time I was on the ground was like I was building up downwards momentum.

I'm really not sure why this happens, this is an almost blank unity project. Any help would be appreciated

The problem is probably related to one of my own scripts, I can't delete the post though...
