    Rigidbody Pick-Up Script
    The Ultimate Gravity Gun Script! By EpicError Tools

    Rigidbody Pick-Up tool is a very easy to set-up script with currently a lot of customization to help with your game. This script allows you to pick up rigidbodies and hold them in front of you using a button you choose. An example could be Amnesia, Portal, Half Life, and many more that are based around this alone.

    Current features are as listed:
    • -Added in a demo scene [NEW]
    • -Added in transparency for objects being held [NEW]
    • -Added in a rotation system [NEW]
    • -Improved the appeal of the Inspector [NEW]
    • -No need to touch code! Just enable and disable from Inspector[NEW]
    • -Added in a throwing system w/ customizable button[NEW]
    • -Button customization
    • -Distance the object is held away from you
    • -Max distance the object will be away from you before it lets go
    • -Max distance for you to grab the object
    • -Easy customization to allow your own crosshair system
    • -Easy to set up objects with a simple tag
    • -Object maintains rotation, allowing for full physics while held

    Would people be interested in a way to rotate the object you are holding with a separate button?

    Rotation would be a nice feature. Can force be applied to the object held to simulate throwing?

    Right now, I do not have throwing as I wanted to have a solid system for everything else. I'll add in throwing right after I get from school. Rotation system will be added after throwing. Thank you for your input, honestly!

    UPDATE: Just submitted the package, will include the following in v1.5:
    • -Improved the appeal of the Inspector [NEW]

    UPDATE:

    Object rotation is complete! Needs a little bit of fixing up, but it'll be ready by tomorrow. V1.5 is now live!

    Nothing people want to request? I really have one thing in mind, and that's about it after rotation.

    -Reduced price from $5 to $2 for Christmas!

    Couple of notes...(using web demo)
    I like the transparency when item is picked up.
    I like the rotation that sometimes happened when item is picked up (although I couldn't get Q to work)
    When using a Mac with , 'option' key was used to drop/throw.
    Love the logo.

    Thanks a lot, I'm glad people are taking an interest in my first asset!
    Yes, the transparency is a big thing for me because my own personal game had lots of problems with stuff in my face. This makes it so you can see where you're going.
    The rotation system needs improvement. To use it, hold down Q and use your mouse to rotate the object.
    I don't have a mac, so I'm not sure how I can test out to see if the keys work on both. If they do, fantastic!

    Thanks a lot, I wanted to make the logo make sense to what I was trying to sell with this script! If you have any suggestions on what I can add, please do so!

    Current Updates in development:
    -AudioSource support for objects being picked up and being held.
    -Fix up Rotations some more.
    -Try to make the set-up more user friendly.
    -Fix up the demo scene.

    Hi, I tried the demo and when i jumped on the item i picked up i flew to the sky, if that gets fixed, I will buy it right away

    Cool asset! If you drop the rigid body while you still have the rotate button down it does not restore gravity.
