Rigidbody freezing until I update the component settings

    I'm trying to use Hinge Joints to allow an object the player is holding to swing around when they move; but it just freezes! Whenever I move the anchor point around, the object will swing around like it should but then freezes after a moment even if there is still some more swinging it could do to reach the proper resting point. Please help, I have no idea why it's doing this or how to fix it!
