Back a while ago when I asked how to make my character face in the direction he was walking, someone pointed out the Character Controller from the Goober animation example. It worked fine, until I realized that I need to use physics too. I've tried a lot of different things, but my only option, I think, is to use something other that the character controller. My question is, how do I get something that works similarly to the character controller, but allows for rigidbody and physics? Thanks. I'm trying to write one myself with faltering luck. >_< It just needs to have a rigidbody and a collider incorperated so that none of that stuff happens in the code. Oy. Thanks again. Moldorma
what other than the spring pad isn't working? i'll try to whip together something to show you what i meant in the other thread. might be a day or two though...
Well, in either way, it'd be nice for stuff like Spring Pads to work just as I make them without any modifications. There has to be a way to make movement like the character controller and still have a rigidbody. EDIT: Okay, okay, I'll write it on my own.
