    Looking For:
    A Sound Designer
    An Assistant Game/UI Designer

    Our Talent:
    A Unity Developer
    Two 2D Spine Animators,
    Two 2D Artists,
    A Music Composer,
    A Marketer.

    Project:
Lost in The Open is a 2.5D turn-based tactical roguelike. Please check out the steam page on https://store.steampowered.com/app/2027380/Lost_In_The_Open/ to see whether this game looks interesting or not to you.

We are looking for a sound designer. We need sound design for plenty of things, to name a few: cinematic, animations, user-interface responsivity, and more. You will be largely working together with our composer, developer and animators.

We are also looking for a Game/UI designer. This person should ideally be a bit of a jack-of-all-trades person and would be the final member to complete the team. The reason game design knowledge is most important is that the lead developer, who also does game design, needs someone to go back and forth with on game mechanics and game ideas. However, UI design and other skills are also valued, and the more diverse the skills the merrier.

For both of the roles we are looking for, it is important that the applicant has enough time to commit to the project and has a stable enough lifestyle right now to commit to about 8 months of collaboration. The game is really ramping up in development and being flexible enough to commit more time to the project after a successful Kickstarter, for example, is a plus.

DM me if you believe you are up for the task!

    Length of Project:
The Kickstarter date is set for February 2022 and the release date is set for November 2023. However, we may finish the game earlier than November 2023.

    Split:
The revshare budget for sound design is 5%.
The revshare budget for game/UI design is about 7%, but it's also more complicated to measure than other categories. We'll talk more about it in DMs. :)
Finally, the revshare budget is absolutely up for discussion and will be revisited continuously.
