With Collaborate we were able to revert to any previous changes.
I can't find how to do it with Plastic SCM>

    Hi!

You have several options! If you want to do it for a single file, then you can use the revert operation, it's available at the file history view.

If you want to go back in time for the entire project you can switch to a changeset.... create a new branch from an older changeset... switch your working copy to a previous label...

    Give it a try!

    Best,
    Manu.

Ok, found out about file history and well, it's a great feature.
Regarding whole project: how can i switch to a changeset? Can't find this option.

Switching to a changeset should be an option in the Changesets menu, but unfortunately, it is not yet implemented. I will share this feedback with the development team.

Currently, if you want to switch to another changeset, you need to click on the small branch icon in the top right and then select Branch Explorer.

Here you will have a lot more options when right-clicking on a changeset.

    I hope this helps!

That seems like a significant oversight. You remove Collaborate before the Plastic SCM even has the same level of features? Why?

Edit: Ugh I can't even find a quick way to open the Plastic SCM client from within Unity. Such an incomplete tool.

I thought the latest update of the package version does exactly this... Reverting to a changeset via "Go back to changeset"? Why do you say it is not implemented? @ollieblanks

This is incredibly frustrating. I find that sometimes the "switch workspace to this changeset" and "go back to changeset" options are missing. Other times I click and they are present. What gives? I just want to revert to my most recent version

Just need to echo others' issues in this thread and add my own discontent re: the poor implementation of Plastic SCM, for what it's worth. I'm in the same boat, can't see changeset revert options, and I've had nothing but trouble with Plastic, when Collaborate worked wonderfully. Unity is a terrific tool; Plastic was a *terrible* call. Please undo it.

The "Go Back to Changeset" feature is available in version 1.14.17 of the Version Control package, which was released May 2nd 2022. If you do not see this option, please update to this version in Package Manager.

Thank you ollieblanks, I can see the changeset revert option now. The 'Search' tab in Plastic is obscuring my Changesets window. How do I get rid of it?

"Go Back to ChangeSet" option is missing in 1.15.1
I upgrade package to 1.15.18 and now it shows modal window
with unknown error when I switches to Changesets panel.
Is there a working version of the plugin that can be downloaded at the moment?

@facerow, we are aware that the Plastic SCM window has some faults when in vertical mode, or with a shorter width, please extend the width of the window to avoid this UI issue.

@AlexeySovko, are there any errors in the Console window, Unity Editor log or the unityplastic.debug.log (which can be found here: %localappdata%\plastic4\logs\)

@ollieblanks Thank you again. Now I'm having an issue where I'm seeing files in my 'Pending Changes' list, but, when investigated, turn out to reveal no differences. Why are these appearing in the change list if the files haven't changed? When I see this I'm not sure whether to update or exclude, lest something gets corrupted or overwritten. What should I do in these cases?

Okay, so... I updated Plastic SCM in package manager (it's titled Version Control in case anyone else gets lost) so I could revert to old changes...

I load my last change. Seems fine... I revert back to my most recent change. Looks fine... I go to play the game... it has to resolve package issues... taking a long time... crashes...

I'm currently waiting for Unity to reload the project...
    Yay! It worked.

    RIP Collab

Maybe this new software will grow on me...

I'm also wondering how to deal with identical files,
and why are they shown as changed?

@facerow @AlexeySovko, I suspect it is just the timestamp that has changed. To alleviate this you should have the below setting checked.
