    Hi,
deadline for this project is tomorrow, and i just encountered what i assume is a bug, because i cant find a solution or explanation to it, or any help about the subject on google.
Basically i have set my AudioListener.volume to 0 meaning i shouldnt hear any sound, and it is the case, only for dry sounds though, the reverb still plays unaffected, which i have absolutely no idea why.
before this i had done the same but via changing the volume from an audio mixer and same result, drysound gone but reverb still plays at the same volume.
Pls tell me its known and im stupid, i gotta wrap this up by tomorrow!

update: i found out that this happens only with AudioSources that have spatialBlending active
edit: and reducing the volume on the AudioSource itself does work properly! but i dont want to loop over every single audiosource just to tune the volume down!

Alright nice! voted on the issue
Edit: i would like to add that i noticed the "spacial blend" determines this bug, if you set it to 1 the reverb wont be heard with audio.listener set to 0. BUT weirdly enough in unity 2022.1.6f1 the bug is there, but its backwards o_O. If you set spacial blend to 1 the reverb is audible, but on 0 it isnt, and because spacial blend is set to 0 by default youd think the bug doesnt exist there, but it does.

I can confirm this bug has not been ignored or forgotten, I've seen a colleague work on this, the code went through review and everything, it should land Soon™ in the editor.
