We are trying to apply a gain on our master mixer to increase the volume of all our sounds at once but when we try to do that our reverb zone seems not affected by it and we cannot really ear it anymore. It it the intended behavior?

    Hey Myron!
I believe the reverb zone effect should be applied after the AudioMixer, so it should not be "diluted" by the mixer's settings... Would you be able to share a video showing the issue?

I did just try a reaaaaally simple version of that on my 2022.2.7f1 version and had no issue. I put an AudioSource bound to a mixer track in an AudioReverbZone on the "Psychotic" preset to have potential remnants really noticeable. When I'm setting the attenuation all the way down on the mixer it kills all the sound, even what I would have expected to be the "wet" part of the reverb effect.

I am curious to see your repro. Maybe we'll find something else in the sound path... maybe the issue arises with a more elaborate mixer setting using sends/receives.

Ok I got the repro now, my quick test did not include variations of the spatial blend. Thank you for documenting the issue.

We just tried and we confirm the impact of the spatial blend on that issue

    Alright!
So to conclude this, it's definitely already in the team's pipeline, but sadly I am not able (or even allowed) to offer an estimate for when a fix will be shipped. The support you offer when gathering bug data and repros is priceless and so appreciated, huge thanks for that @mi3ke and @Myron

As you imagine there's... more than one bug... in the backlog... so thank you for your patience, we'll get there eventually!

Definitely still an issue as of right now on 2022.2.18f1. FYI, the bug says "WHEN THE SPATIAL BLEND OF THE AUDIO SOURCE IS LOWER THAN 1" but that it wrong. It should actually say "GREATER THAN 0".

It actually behaves differently depending if you use the Audio Mixer or the Audio Lister Volume. In the bug report I used the Audio Listener Volume and in that case setting the Spacial Blend at 1 and the Listener Volume at 0 would not let the reverb through. But anything less than 1 and the reverb comes through.
When routing the Audio Source through a Mixer Channel an setting that channel to -80db you will still hear the reverb when the Spatial Blend is greater than 0.
This makes that bug even more confusing but hopefully it will be fixed one day. At this point there is no way to control the game volume when using Reverb Zones because even lowering the volume of the Listener or the Mixer, the reverb come through in the wrong ratio and every thing will sound off.

I second this, reproduced on 2023.1.3f1 using AudioListener.volume and a Reverbzone
