    Hello,

My name is Marcelo and I came here to show you the game I'm developing with my friend Arthur.
We are 2 brazilian guys who started developing a game just for fun, but after some progress, we've decided to take it serious.
Sorry for any english errors, I'm not practicing it too much :p

This is my first time programming, and it's the first time Arthur make 3D art, so we've tried to make a very simple game.
    We've created a "company" named Countryside Games, and we've created a page on facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/CountrysideGames ).

If you don't want to read all the things I will say below (about the production), you can simply download it from:

    iTunes:
    https://itunes.apple.com/br/app/id693042806?mt=8&affId=2048933

    Google Play:
    http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/35534890/

    Blackberry:

    Or check the trailer:

But let`s start talking about the game development:

We`ve decided to make an "endles runner" because it seemed to be a good challenge for our first project.
On the first weeks (2 months ago), our game was showing the amout of experience me and my friend has, take a look:

I've started programming it in Javascript, making some very (unnecessarily) complicated codes, and Arthur was making a big mess with the animations (you can see it in the pic above.
The only objective in the game was "Run before the time ends" and there was a flying cube item which would give the player a "time bonus".

After some days, Arthur fixed the animations and created some new assets (obstacles) and I started trying to tuning the controls and adding some new gameplay features.
We've added some colors and COINS (a classic feature, haha).

After some days, Arthur made some new interface items, and I've added an "energy bar" which would keep the player's energy draining, but could be refilled when the player catches water bottles, and the timer wasn't a countdown anymore, just a time recorder.

(the water boy is there, in the end of the track, left side)

Well, that was our alpha 1.2 build, and after that, my Unity started having problems to generate web player builds, so I've only tested the game in my android devices (Xperia P and Galaxy Tab 2 7.0).

I've changed all the scripts from JS to C#, I've bought NGUI and removed all the OnGUI stuff from the game.
I've added NPCs and new obstacles (like walls, moving walls, holes, and more stuff I will show soon).
We've added a lot of environment art in the scene and improved the game's performance.

This is a screenshot from two weeks ago, with new obstacles, NPC rivals and some new art:

We've added some new track colors, to differentiate the difficulty levels.
All the obstacles and NPCs positions are random planned modular assets.
This is it one week ago:

There's three ways to die in the game, colliding with NPCs, obstacles, holes, or diying by thirsty.
This is what happens when you don't drink water:

And this is the first character:

I've published the game in Google Play and it will be published on Amazon Appstore and iTunes soon.
