Resources/tutorials for an idiot wanting to learn c#?

Hi! I'm going to try to keep this short and sweet, sorry if this is posted in the wrong place!

I've been meaning to learn how to program for a long time, and I've finally started to take the steps to do so!

Just one problem, all the tutorials, resources, etc. use terminology that I'm having problems comprehending. I'm unable to grasp the definitions used in my tutorials, and it has really dampened my motivation.
What I'm basically trying to say is, does anyone know of any resources that explain c# to an idiot?

Yes, I know I shouldn't be starting on unity, but alas, here I am.​

If your goal is to create games with Unity, it is more important to learn the Unity tool and start with simple C# scripts by copy&paste. If you have no programming skills, it will get hard to fully understand what source code is meaning and what it will do.
