[EDIT: It was pointed out below, that this list is not generated by Unity. The subject list was generated by a game developer, not Unity. Please disregard this post]

During the last PR event, xxxx said they have maintained a list of CPUs/GPUs in which are no longer supported, and in which bugs occuring on theese hardware will not be fixed.
(Unless I am completely missunderstaing this topic)

Really? No one else is interested in this topic?

This seems pretty important to me. Escpecially since our bug reports might be ignored because it occured on a certain HW.
It seems people are more concerned with arguing over how much faster a for loop is over a foreach loop.

I'd like if they made this blacklist public.

Also there are cases where a foreach loop can be faster than a for loop.
How? Because [] operator is a function call in List class.

Check at 1:23:51, that guy isn't Unity, it's an example of what you can do with analytics; ignore crashes, blacklist tiny percent of hardware and spend your time on more productive things.

Also, @ the foreach-for thing going on, currently a foreach loop generates garbage, so if you're doing it everywhere per frame it's a nuisance. For the performance it depends on the enumerator implementation of the thing you're foreaching and it can get pretty close.

Thanks for pointing that I, i must have dozed off for a few seconds when he was giving his introduction.
I thought something seemed a bit strange about this topic.

I got that he wasn't from Unity. But the Unity guy before him was talking about using aggregate analytics data from all Unity game installs to make Device Intelligence possible.

But I don't think Unity has that list, yet. Just another promise for the distant future.
