Hi guys. This is probably a beginner's question so hopefully you guys will be able to help me out.

I've been building a simple 2D platformer with an orthographic camera for 1920x1080 resolution. I recently made a build of a game and played it in a lower resolution which results in parts of the game being cut off. Is a fix just a matter of resizing the camera to the resolution or do I have to resize all of my assets as well? I'm not really sure how it works in Unity. Either way I have no idea how to go about it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated ^_^

I think this really depends on your graphics style. If it is Pixel based of course some stuff can be cut off
In 3d you can have cut offs When the aspect ratio is different from one screen to another.
For the ui you can relate graphics to a specific side of the screen. Here you just have to avoid overlapping of stuff.

As far As I remember the fiel that is visible by the camera is defined in the camera Inspector with one variable, and is directly related to the y-axis-resolution
