    Hi!

I would like to reset the entire Analytics project. How do I do that with the new dashboard? I can only find the documentation of the legacy Analytics dashboard.

    Hi Maarten,

Thanks for taking a look at the new Analytics Beta.

It is not possible to reset the entire Analytics dataset on the new Analytics Beta at present, but we do provide Environments, so you can record and report data seperately for development, staging, QA, prroduction etc...

There is an Environments dropdown at the top of each of the Analytics pages and you will find more information about managing environments here

If using a diifferent environment doesn't help to solve your issue, please let us know a bit more about your use case. We are adding more features to Gaming Services, so we are really interested in your feedback.

    Thanks,
    Laurie

    Hey Laurie,

I guess I'm a little bit in an in-between zone. I am not part of the Unity Game Services, but also am not using the legacy Analytics board.

Is there a way to go back to the legacy Analytics board instead? I do not prefer to have a product in a beta environment.

    Thanks in advance!

@MaartenB You would be using either one or the other, there is no "in-between". For legacy Analytics, in the Services window under Settings, generate a new Unity ProjectID. This will create a new dashboard for your project.

Alright then. The reason why I said this, is because I do not have the Environments page where I can set up my production and development environment.

But I'll do that! Thanks for the tip.

Yes, Environments are part of the new Analytics package. You are using Legacy Analytics, so my suggestion would apply.

    Are these the Legacy Analytics?

Yes. May I ask why you are requesting to reset the dashboard if you are not actively using it?

It's because there is development garbage in it with event names that are not being used anymore. Tomorrow this application will be released, so it's great to start with a clean slate.

But if that's the legacy analytics board, why am I not able to reset the dashboard?

Got it! I gave instructions to reset the dashboard previously. If you generate a new ProjectID in the Services window in the Unity Editor (menu Window/General/Services..) it will generate a new dashboard.
