?

Would you like to see a Unity 5.6.6 Linux version?

  1. Yes, it would be good to have all platforms have 5.6.x on the same footing, for long-term support

  2. I wouldn't use it but others may find it useful

Now that Unity 5.6.6 (the last planned 5.6.x release) is available for Windows and Mac, I'm updating a request I made in an earlier post.

The last Linux editor released is version 5.6.3xf1. Is it possible to get the last Linux release lined up with the Windows / Mac one, so that all platforms are at 5.6.6? Right now that's preventing me from successfully using Linux for 5.6.x Unity development, as I'm out of sync with our Windows developers.

We have products based on the Unity 5.6 line and running on Linux that we need to support for several years. Please don't force me to run a Windows VM just for Unity ...

    Thanks!
