    Honestly, I've found Photon Pun to be very pleasant to work with without it being a bloated mess. They have good documentation which covers everything you need.

    club penguin server was made with smartfox server for a reason. it is perfect for this case.

    Like @Tiny-Tree already pointed out, Club Penguin (and its successor Club Penguin Island - and a number of other virtual worlds) has been developed with SmartFoxServer. Feel free to ask if you have specific questions.
