Renderings of your asset pack?

I am working on a small scifi asset pack for the story and thinking a bit about the presentation.
Is it wrong to render the models and use the images in the store, or should all models be presented as screenshots from the unity engine itself?
Rendering always look nice of course, but they dont necessarily represent the final look in the engine... so is it wrong to use them?

Naturally people want to see what your models could look like in their own game. If they open your asset pack in Unity and it doesn't look as good as it does in your provided screen shots than people will feel like they were fooled.

Most asset providers show in-engine screen shots using only Unity's own lighting and post-processing. That way they can save these settings in an example scene. Users can open the example scene and see that the assets look exactly the same as on the Asset Store. Exactly like they wanted an expect.

Are you having trouble getting your assets to look good in Unity? Maybe you just need to improve your lighting an post processing.
