Has anyone noticed that there is some loss with regard to the quality of a Render Texture?

    Is this normal?

I have a camera displaying onto a cube and the quality is not as good as what the camera sees. Is there a reason for the loss of quality?

Lack of mipmaps? Size of texture too big or small for the area being rendered?

Interesting! perhaps I will fiddle about with the mipmaps and size and see if it produces the same results. Thank you for the reply.

I will report back if I discover the reason.

Turns out the size of the actual render texture needed to be around screen size in order to get an accurate portrayal of what the target camera was seeing. Note, the size of the render texture and not the plane/cube you are projecting it onto. Hope this helps someone. Sorry it took a while, it wasn't a major issue at the time and I had to put it on the back burner. Thanks imaginaryhuman for your suggestion!
