Hey guys, was just wondering how to get rid of unneeded geometry? Here's an example to put it as simply as possible. I make a plane: If I extrude the planes edge two units: I now have 6 verts. How can I remove these: Thanks in advance, and sorry if this is something super simple I'm overlooking!
As far as I know (correct me if I'm wrong) ProBuilder can't remove vertices directly. Backspace is sub-element delete but it only works for faces I think. And delete will delete the whole object. But you can first merge the polys using (if there are multiple) by using "Merge Faces" in quad mode (that rightmost button in mode selection) and then use "Collapse Vertices" in vertex mode. In the option popup there's also one option to change the collapse target. Multi select can be done with help of shift key. So that's one roundabout way to remove vertices.
