Question Remove Icons in scene

How do I remove remove the camera icons.

 

Disable Gizmos:


Have not found a way to specifically remove the camera icon. But you can pull the size slider to the left until it's small enough to not be in the way.

 

Why would there not be an option to turn off the camera icons?

 

You can always search t:Camera in the scene or hierarchy, select-all and tick off the GameObject

 

The gameobjects must stay active for testing.

 

Just turn off their visibility in the heirarchy. The little eye icon to the left of their name's when you hover over them.

Yes. That hides the icon, gizmo, etc, for me.

 

You can disable any particular icon you want from the gizmos menu. See the section titled "Toggling icon visibility" here: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/GizmosMenu.html

It's unclear what part of this screenshot you're referring to. I'm referring to what I mentioned in my comment - you can disable the icon by clicking on it in the "Icon" column of that menu.

 

Now I see. Clicking on the icon in my last screenshot disables the icons I want to disable.

That's poor UI design. I didn't know those icons are selectable.
