    Thank you, Play_Edu.

I have updated the demo, it now works properly for Mac users. Included are two new scenes with the upcoming lava particles. Take a look at it here: http://bit.ly/1Adq3Hw

Oh, and v1.1 will arrive soon with a total of 165 prefabs.

Remember to get it while it's still on sale!

    Hi
Would this asset work on Unity 4.0.1?
I'm about to buy this asset but not sure because of compatibility.

Also is there any info for mobile performance yet?

I can send you a copy if you'd like to try it out on 4.0.1.

It's not optimized for mobile, but some effects seem to run fine. I have an APK if you'd like to try it on mobile.

Feel free to send me a PM or an e-mail :)

Any idea how to make the rain ripple upon impact with an object? It would be good to add some documentation on that sort of thing into it. Using Unity 5.

There's a tab called "Collision" on the Particle System, which you can set to World or Planes. I'm a little bit unsure which is suitable for your scene, but it worked for my demo to put it to World.

There's also a setting called "Collides with" which uses Layers. So you can filter what exactly you want your rain droplets to impact on.

I didn't find any official Unity documentation on just this. Let me know how it goes.

They are not yet fully optimized for mobile devices, but I have tested them on my tablet (LG-V500), and the demo runs fine, considering the amount of effects in each scene. They are reasonably optimized for PC, but you might want to turn down the particle amount and texture sizes if you want a lot of effects on a tablet or phone.

Also, here is an updated demo (Newest effects are in the back)

If you want to test them on an android tablet, here is an APK.

Could you upload a video or something? None of the provided demos work for me. It tells me to install unity web plugin even though I have it installed.
I find this sometimes happens when web build is set to streamed.

Unity webplayer doesn't work for Chrome at the moment due to one of their updates to the browser. Last time I checked, it works fine in Firefox and Explorer. I can see if I get the time to put a video up if you still get issues.

Here you go. Tells what happened, and how to re-enable it in Chrome. (Assuming Chrome is what's giving you problems, of course. ;))

    Hi,

I'd like to suggest a few more environmental prefabs, things like :
    - Falling water (like from damp overhead structure)
    - Falling Sand / Dust

    Some wind affected ...
    - Perhaps general particles in the air - like in a meadow, or forest
    - falling Leave / dandelion etc

    thx

I really appreciate the ideas, thanks. If you know how to edit particle effects, some of the ones you mentioned can be easily be made from editing existing effects in the pack.

For example falling leaves and dandelion seeds could use the the snow particle system, where you just swap out the texture.

Falling / dripping water is sort of in the pack already, though it may require a little editing to get the exact wanted effect.

I'm working on a few other things at the moment, but I'll look into adding these effects next time I'm updating the pack.

Thanks for sending me the sample app and asset package.

It worked quite well on Galaxy Note 2. There were no lack on my phone. (Maybe there were some, but I couldn't recognize it)

For compatibility issue on Unity 4.0 version, I had to add a script to add quad mesh from the below url.
    https://gist.github.com/mstevenson/4384385
I don't know much about quad mesh and unity version compatibility but seems like it was added on later Unity versions. For my old unity, I had to add this script and make quad mesh available for particle system to refer.
Also I had to reserialize the asset for older library archive.

    Thank you for great asset!

Hey, there may have been some issues with Dropbox at the time, but it seems to be working now.

Here's a direct link to the demo

You may get issues if you're using Chrome, but it works fine for me in Firefox, and it should also work fine in Opera and Explorer.

Great stuff. Just bought the pack and I love the value at $10.
I'm interested in using it on mobile games as well. Would love to know if you have any tips on optimizing for mobiles.

Thank you for the purchase. For mobile I recommend you that you turn down the amount of particles emitted. There are own material types in unity for mobile, and they could be worth changing to. I haven't studied mbile optimization in depth, but these are some tricks that could help.

@iichiversii The video/WebGL demo are currently the only demos I have.

They show off about 120 effects, many of these have variations with different emitter types and behaviours (some are one-shot, others loop, some are more or less dynamic than others) which amounts to a lot.

Was there any specific effects you want a closer look at or feel is missing in the demo? At the moment I think I should have put in more demo of some of the different fire effects.
