    In version 1.8 it was like that:

    Oh i forgot, you can change it in preference the node value port from inside to outside.

    The red and yellow will be fixed soon.

    One more thing.
    I deleted the prefab and created a new one using C # parsing.

    And after opening the prefab it turned out that there are such errors --->

    Hello there, I have a question about uNode, will i be able to remake any C# script in it?, like making a visual version of that C# script like 1 to 1 .(Bolt is not able to do that aparently and flowcanvas even less).

    Yes you can remake any c# in it by using c# parser to convert existing script into graph ( but it may not work on all script especially complex script ) and modify it with visually then convert back to c# script but it is very not recommended to modify generated script dirrectly and convert back to graph as it will recreating the graph mean you will lose the graph organization ( position, region, grouping, etc ) so i only recommend to convert script to graph and modify the script through uNode editor visually. And if you don't want using uNode again you can simply converting all graph into script and remove uNode and you can edit the script like before.

    uNode v2.0 BETA 5 has been released.

    Since there is many major improvement uNode will now move into version 2.

    What's New:

    New High Level API for creating nodes, action, and conditions.
    The new HL API let you makes custom nodes with simples and the most easy way.

    Today I made the first attempts to transfer my project to uNode version 2.0

    Some comments:
    1. The conversion of old uNode classes with "Fix Missing Script" is a bit worried. It takes a long time and the editor seems to hang. But this is a unique and rather one-time activity, so it's ok.
    2. Sometimes, grid is not displayed when the editor is started. (as on second screen)
    3. Any attempts to center the chart, either manually or using the "Frame Graph" and saving it like this --->

    They are futile on one point. Because after restarting, the chart looks like this --->

    This is a minor problem but quite annoying, could something be done about it?

    This happens after rebooting both uNode and Unity, and even after closing and re-opening the class itself (e.g. sz_zasoby as in the pictures).
    In my opinion, all reopened charts automatically set the yellow "start" node here. --->

    Sorry for late answer,

    Currently there's no options in preference for show/hide the icon but you can modify the theme USS to matching your desired style, here is the style code to hide the icon for the compact output port:
    Code (CSharp):
    1. #title > .compact-output > Image {
    2.     display: none;
    3.     visibility: hidden;
    4. }
    Add it into 'UGraphView.uss' and the icon should be hide.

    The UI bug in preview window will be fixed soon.

    Officially, "Bolt" is free from today. In some time, "Bolt 2" will also be free, which is supposed to generate clean C # code.
    It is therefore very likely that other paid tools (including uNode) for visual scripting will no longer be attractive to potential buyers.

    I do not hide that I am concerned about the future of uNode, and I would like to know what's the creator of uNode's position on this matter.

    For now there's no changes to our roadmap, uNode will continue to be improved and we have close to release uNode version 2 which is has a lot of improvement. Bolt 2 is now still in alpha phrase and all of us don't know when the stable version will be released. Unity now has its own visual scripting tools for both OOP and DOTS but not all others visual scripting will be die. I develop uNode as a hobbies on my free time and i try as much as possible to continue to develop it. Things might not go well and maybe i will made uNode become a free to anyone and when this is become true, i may developing new asset with the power of uNode and anyone can make it too as there is huge possibility in uNode. As far as i know Bolt 2 only generate c# script for performance reason and has its own architecture but uNode at the first released have the c# generation and this not only build for the performance reason but to leverage the power of c# and we have built the architecture to be similar to c# but in visual this is why uNode can convert from / to c# and not only that uNode can also be used to create both the game logic or editor extension for unity.

    It's hard to discuss but I want to know what anyone think if uNode becomes free?

    hmm, for me, should not make it free, for the efforts and works you put on it. Keep doing great jobs improving it.

    I red Bolt reviews (not all of them) and payed more attention to the negatives one. I have a feeling that Bolt is good, until some level, then peoples realize that is not that good. Then gonna look around for some thing better. One thing that Bolt seems to be really strong: marketing. It has lots of tutorials video, addons - I was surprised on a their new addon, that suppose to help new user understanding Bolt (I guess?), but It has only bad reviews (1 star).

    I think the missing "ingredient" of uNode, is video tutorials. But since the developer is solo (or small team?), I guess he as to prioritize between: improving the asset or making tutorial. Since the asset keeps improving, any tutorial would become outdated fast. So I preferer to see the tool improvements. And for understanding it: no choice than playing around and ask questions :)

    Again, thanks for creating uNode and its upgrades.

    uNode is a specific and quite unique tool.
    If I had created something like uNode ...
    1. Or I would set a low price (eg 5-10 dollars / euro).
    2. Or I would make it available for free, but for example more advanced functions would be included in the paid add-on.
    3. Or completely free.
    Product quality plays a secondary role in sales performance. The most important are advertising, connections and good PR.

    If I were rich, I would give the author of uNode a lot of donation, unfortunately I'm not ... :(

    P.S. I believe if uNode had some video tutorials it would do so much better, for the last 2 days I've been learning blueprints in unreal but if this (uNode) works as outlined maybe I'll use it and create some tutorials for it?

    Grabbed it with the death of Bolt 2...Im really impressed. Its closer to being Bolt 2 than Bolt 2 was.

    I recommend putting the discord link on the front page, and maybe the asset store page. It was hard to find!

    The community seems really good, and there's lots to do for all of us, including tutorials, so that would be great!

    Not literally, but as of now there’s bolt 1, bolt 2 will no longer be developed upon. Bolt1 on the other hand will as they streamline visual scripting across the board (I don’t see anything happening for years IMO).

    I don't believe they have a clear direction, initially the thought is to build upon bolt 1, doesn't make sense to me but what are you gonna do lol

    I had no idea uNode had all of these features, its like a hidden gem :)
    Im still debating over uNode in unity or blueprints in Unreal sooooo difficult to decide as I like what Im seeing so far in UE (maybe its because its new and I haven't hit that wall yet that says this doesn't make sense?).
    Maybe I'll just do both :D

    P.S. I think the people chose good looks and what bolt 2 could provide so unity chose bolt, I could definitely be wrong here. Another reason why Im still shocked uNode is not more main stream.

    The big question how long will it take unity to develop???

    I used Blueprints in Unreal. They suffer from the same condition as Bolt 1. Poor performance due to additional "intermediary".
    Even creators of Unreal Engine themselves advise against using Blueprints for advanced or professional purposes. :(


    Because it is a true jewel, although it needs some sanding. :)

    uNode version 1 has 2 different graph the runtime graph and c# graph. The runtime graph may not work on AOT like IOS. The c# graph generates pure c# script and work on all platform.

    uNode version 2 has a auto generate c# script on build for the runtime graph and it is work on all platform without dealing with AOT stuff and the performance are natively equivalent to c# script. You can join uNode discord to get more info about uNode 2.
