    Maybe he is busy working. Or maybe he has a project he has to finish at his day job. Or maybe his wife is sick and he is taking care of the kids. A few weeks is not that long.

    Last I heard was "next month", meaning this month. Unless there's been a lot done that just hasn't been checked off on the Trello page then I'm not so sure they'll make that deadline.

    In a few weeks - the testing/beta version. Afterwards we'll fix whatever is left/polish it, and in the end, it might be on the store before Christmas. (If it gets accepted quickly).

    Yes there are things done on my part, which I haven't checked on Trello.

    Hi guys!

    I've raised terrain by Z axis with all object on Forest scene, baked a New NavMesh.

    But got some unpleasent behaviour:

    Boars on the right level by Z but they are stucked in their places and moving at the one place.

    One thing I would really like to see is runtime nav mesh build in. I still haven't found an appropriate solution for enemies running through building floor and I was wondering if anyone has figured it out. Another thing I noticed during testing was you can actually build through hills with the floor prefab. I would appreciate help from anyone if they know how to fix these issues (via links or just guidance).

    If you use a navMesh obstacle on your building floor, enemies won't be able to run through.
    I can't build through hills, so can't help you there.

    because i tested gaia and for my expectations world creator is more suitable for my project,
    for trees I have the choice
    or make sure that the manager is functional,or
    place them manually

    True :) Quick question are you using Pro Or standard World Creator, cause i need a map generator for an island and cant really make up my mind regarding what is best :) Its for a large island

    I was just trying to make a lot of islands lool
    with the pro version this is not a problem ,
    erosion and sedimentation is very useful ;) all with CTS
    and everything is sublimated

    Hello everyone,

    I am currently having trouble adding custom socket to a prefab piece which is not on the building list. I'd like to add this socket to a window from the HQ Residential house allowing the construction of a building piece from ultimate survival.

    I plan to add a custom barricades one but for now I'll just use the regular window on the building prefab list from U.S but it doesn't work.

    What did I do wrong?

    Also, it worth mentioning that the only way I've managed to it is by adding the building script piece to the window prefab but when I build the wood window on the hq window it flip it horizontally instead of staying vertical on top of the HQ one

    Did you use the edit Piece offset on your Socket?
    maybe the pivot is facing the wrong way?

    Hi guys! I need to have 3rd person camera for male player instance but there are only 1st person view in your asset.

    Could you give any suggestions about the right way to implement something like that?

    Yes it's very possible, I would suggest using two cameras, and script it to change the view you want based on a key input by the player.

    No, I'm about arms animation for my TPC player. There are a set of animations.. how to set up them for arms of my player.

    If I understand you correctly you wish to have a TPC and have animations for just the hands (opening doors or reload weapon) if that is the case you simply animate just the hands and setup the TPC like you normally would. If you don't know how to do so then search YouTube for "how to make animations in Unity".

    With the Ultimate Survival Framework, it would be easier to setup 2 cameras one for FPS view, and one for 3rd person view. Then you could look at the Raw Mocap animations here on the asset store which is free for 3rd player view / animations, and then the framework will already handle your FPS view.

    You could upload your character to Mixamo and grab some animations on there as well, they work pretty well in unity, and just a few tweaks on your end to get the result you want.

    Is it worth it to get this asset only for the hands animations with the bow, axe and spear? I am really looking for a package that offers animations for a first person medieval game.

    At the current price of $34.99 it might be worth it if you do not wish to make your own animations.

    I assume you're looking for the player character model? It is named Male.fbx and is included in the project.

    So you are all using these animations or completely ignoring them and making the animations from scratch? I'm wondering if there is any other package that contains hands + bow animations, axe, sword etc..

    I prefer to use Opsive products. Their third person controller has bow animations, I don't think UFPS currently does but it might months down the road I found http://u3d.as/JvU for UFPS but it lacks hands.

    It appears that Ultimate Survival is the only asset with first person bow animations that include the hands while not mounted on an animal otherwise you would be forced to create your own animations.

    Thanks for the answer, I spent days researching different assets if they include hands + bow animation and axe or sword animation, but none of them does except Ultimate Survival. May I ask you to take a picture of the hands model in the editor?

    RFPS has bow and sword shield plus you can switch between 1st and third

    So I had to download the new version which isn't setup right for some reason.
    but I checked RFPS as @thenamesace suggested and can confirm it does have an fps bow it is also cheaper by $4.99 http://u3d.as/4pH

    The bow here looks nice though, the problem with RFPS is that I'm able to see the characters body while I'm in first person mode

    Yeah and the body of the character, also the hands have gloves that wont fit for my medieval style game

    You can turn off the 3rd body animator on RFPS so that solves one problem as for the hands you can can replace them with another FPS set I did it using handy hands (I think it’s called) on the store
