    I'm all for opposing viewpoints, but I'm also about taking personal responsibility for one's actions. Selling a "game" in good faith when you're really just flipping an asset is wrong. Just because it's legal doesn't make it right. I'd guess that most people who buy games on Steam aren't even aware of the asset store. They just get duped into buying garbage. That's not fair to me.

    Anyway, let's get back on topic. @VladimirGameStudio, I have not used that so I can't say. Is that like Odin? I've read good things about Odin being able to put a wrapper on anything and deserialize/serialize pretty much everything.

    I've been looking more into Scriptable Objects and using that as much as possible. I know there are limitations, but I think it would be good for modularity.

    No, this makes any game already packaged by Unity 3d you can unpack it. remove the script, 3d models, images everything inside a game echo with unity 3d and then repackages it to an assent, so you can do a new project.

    I would like to have a key for it or an ingame button ..

    As Winterbyte is the only US programmer, i honestly think 0.2 will not be out in 2017. Just because there are still a lot of things for him to do alone. I believe very much in this project, I know that the quality is practically AAA, but I'm already using other resources and my current project, i believe that in a future project i use .2 when it is released.

    Oh, it's a decompiler. Interesting. I've never used it so I can't say how well it works, but it's interesting. It does obfuscation as well.

    Ich würde gerne ohne Bauplan bauen .. Ich würde lieber einen Schlüssel benutzen. Weiß jemand da wo ich das ändern muss?

    Der Bauplan ist in der Item Datenbank, der hat eine Property "Allows Building". Das braucht das Item das du benutzen willst.
    Danach kopierst du den Bauplan unter FPRoot in der Hierarchy und ersetzst den Bauplan mit deinem Schlüssel Prefab.

    With this tutorial I managed to easily create scripts to control almost any car system I added to my project. It just takes a slight modification of the script for different systems, but works bloody well.

    Das erforfdert mehr änderungen in dem Script "PlayerBuilder". Da müssen die ganzen Konditionen usw weg, also ein grösserer Aufwand.

    ok i have the building plan in the game but without mash .. so you can not see him ..
    and in the input system one can simply put on a key .. the building plan only needs to be selected ..
    I hope I could help someone who has the same before

    Mobile support is not released yet, sorry. That's in the 0.2 update.

    It's very easy to do the controls, but the UI needs work too.

    i think about optimization, not GUI.
    In trello mobile optimization yet relized and marked as ready...in..JUNE. And asset creator write here on forum '0.2 will released in MAY-JUNE'.

    There was a delay like many other assets.

    It's coming, but idk when.

    Optimization wise, 0.2.

    why not release the updates in parts, not to wait until all the keypoint ready. All do that.

    The next ones will be, right now the "keypoints" are required. You don't want US with a broken/half finished inventory (or other features) do you?

    I know this sounds bad but I'm not really looking forward to when US .2 is available. Since the release of .12 I have been meticulously molding and adding systems and reinforcing the stability of my project to the point where .2 will be a set back in some cases. On top of that I know when .2 is finished I will probably stop what I'm doing start again which is against my better judgement.

    Systems I have developed are...

    Save/load (EasySave was used so I didn't actually do all the work)
    Vehicle Simulation with drivable cars, boats and aircraft.
    Swimming
    AI NPC system with traffic spawn
    Objective/Quest/Dialog manager
    Physics based player interactions and breakable objects
    Multiplayer shell which works well with two players but lags with 3 or more. (I had to use Photon)
    Integrated Assets: EasySave, Enviro (slightly different then MessyCoder way for multiplayer), and a bunch of asset store models.

    I also had to redo a few of the original systems to make them multiplayer friendly. I don't think I would have been able to do this project from scratch. US saved me a ton of time. The only problem is when version .2 is released, I will probably drop everything and do it all over again only to achieve the same results with no actual forward progress on my project.

    Actually, It looks like a VanossGaming/H20 Delirious glitch fest! But it does work... I call it MOWSiS (Massive Open-World Simulation Interactive Suite). It's kinda like Bethesda with Elder Scrolls and fallout... the same engine different games but also mixed with a GTA style AI.

    This generic project MOWSiS is how I will now create my own game.

    Right now I am focusing on a better save/load but I think that will be put on the back burner. I also have been working on real 3d cloud layer for Enviro. cloudsystem003.jpg

    Ironically I was not trying to prefect my cloud system, but now it just works for some reason!

    Unity editor is either possessed or it is a trick bag! I just got done mentioning my cloud layer system for Enviro that still needs a lot of work and then with a few tweeks it all the sudden works!

    What's the best option for multiple terrains (looking to make a bunch of islands with ocean floor total size 20km +)

    World Composer, but I don't just use what it exports. I bring height maps and splat maps into Photo Shop from multiple locations I discovered. I take the features I like and blend them together. I have a process I do which probably is dumb but it works... I count the pixels to align the part of the splat map with the feature I want to use. Works good for LOD on large maps.
    Yeah, my bad. It really is just so that the player can hop in a aircraft and fly to different locations. The actual aircraft model is supposed to be an ultralight trike but I'm still working on that model. The plane you see there is just asset store model that I liked and I used a heavily modified Unity PropAircraft standard asset to control it similar to like GTA V.

    What rotates the sun?
    I can see there is a Time Of Day script that roates the Sun (Light) and the moon(Light)
    But the round yellow thing in the sky is the skybox I think I can't seem to figure out what is going on.

    I'm trying to get a good lighting / shader set up going..

    Yes you can just change these values to 0 under the male player in the hierarchy/inspector
