I'm all for opposing viewpoints, but I'm also about taking personal responsibility for one's actions. Selling a "game" in good faith when you're really just flipping an asset is wrong. Just because it's legal doesn't make it right. I'd guess that most people who buy games on Steam aren't even aware of the asset store. They just get duped into buying garbage. That's not fair to me. Anyway, let's get back on topic. @VladimirGameStudio, I have not used that so I can't say. Is that like Odin? I've read good things about Odin being able to put a wrapper on anything and deserialize/serialize pretty much everything. I've been looking more into Scriptable Objects and using that as much as possible. I know there are limitations, but I think it would be good for modularity.
