    If this were the case, why would I still be here reporting and apologizing for everything that happened?
    Wouldn't be easy just leave and let things be the way they are?

    If you cannot accept the fact that I had problems and I had to leave for a while like I said, there's no point in this discussion. That's the last time I try @blackbird I understand your frustration but not this is not the solution.

    I already said sorry, and there's no much I can do about the past, I'm working on the project and there will be updates in the right time, accept that or not.

    @blackbird if you are not happy, why not get a refund and move on, let Stiffx get on with the updates without extra hassle, he has obviously had to deal with some things, whether it is personal or financial. We all have had some problems in the past in some form or another, at least he is still here. Or stay around and let him prove himself, your choice.

    @julianr i can t get refund because i paid him directly , and i don t trust him anymore he did that with the zombie temlpate and this time he is doing the same thing again how much promises we heared back in april ... and now he is doing the samething even though he said that the update was ready etc plz stop defending him you only give him a cover up and if you think by keeping quite he will make progress then you are wrong my friend

    and you can't work with what you have so far, or a previous release? From what I've seen, feature creep set into the project - adding more and more to it from requests and the developer adding in more features on top. This will add time to the project to complete and on top of any other problems Stiffx may have had. If you are not an experienced developer, I can understand that you are waiting on features that will add value to your game.

    My advice to @Stiffx is to get each part finished, roll it out so your customers have updates and when you get to a fixed milestone, call that release done and any further updates are a bonus. Don't promise anything you can't deliver and release small update/patches to keep people happy and not see this asset as "no longer supported".

    i understand blackbird frustration, i self wont a refund and have wirte for it to unity and stiffx, i became a answer from unity but no from stiffx for a question on refund.its not so easy to became money back and the bugs on all version a true and i dont read from ai,thats see i as bonus. i read from the controller (crouch collider,ik error etc...).
    i have buy more assets but with no asset have i so much problems,the other assets work how it is write in the description, on tspa not.sry at time i have give up this to paypal and will see that i became my money back,all other good luck and happy waiting :D

    Hi Mad_Mark, Thanks a lot for your answer. I did try in every way i could yet not getting result. Could you please gaet a glimpse on the code and tell me how to do it? It would be really very very helpful.

    lets give him a break. A complete game template is hard as hell to produce. But If a coder had this he or she could fix any bugs.

    Game dev is very hard, don't depend on assets to produce a game. Learn and pay your dues, Too many people are using assets to make a game and putting it up on steam to make a quick buck when the game is boo boo lol. not saying you or any on this forum is but its a sad fact that alot of people in general are.

    He's doing his best and thats all we can ask for the 70$ price tag for an asset.

    Completely in sync with you @relacon. A real game dev will use the assets as a foundation and/or to speed up development. You buy pieces here and there to accelerate the time to market and if ever it's too buggy you move on, find another asset or develop your own.

    Will you be adding some kind of save game, autosave, checkpoint ?
    And can you add when player dies, fadeout and level restart from beginning or from save ?

    I have done my duty and purchased TPSA. If the developer is not going to release any small update soon, I will switch back to TPC again, the TPC developer seems to have figured out how to fix the wobbeling, and I like his steady pace. Just a rational decision.

    Edit: I have switched to Third Person Controller again. The author did fix the wobbeling, and he totally cares for his customers. His pace is amazing. I put my trust into TPC. This is unfortunate, but I think on the long run, TPC is a better option because the TPSA developer does not have a steady pace.

    @hermie keep dreaming he won t updated he shows up again only because 3 or 2 people reported him to the unity team and now he just giving excuses and playing the nice guy role just to fool everybody again like he did twice before but what really annoying is that some people know how he abandoned his customers before but still defending him check my old post here you will see what he did with the zombie template and how he lied to everybody there

    and check the old comments how many times he claim to upload the update by end of the week and later nothing ...check his post how many times he said that everything is ready and fixed

    Exactly, how many times did we see the same excuses (and this is literally copy/paste from his old thread) :

    - I'm going to implement that too with the mecanim part of the system.
    I'm spending more time on this to get it right. I 'm also preparing more surprises to the next release.
    - I'm working on it, right now is not mecanim compatible, but after the upgrade i'm doing it will be.
    - As part of the new system, I'm creating some new animations.
    - I'm also finishing mecanim integration, after that we can think about mobile control
    - things are a little bit slower than I thought, I'm finishing some jobs this month so things are very tight. I think I can work again on the project by next month.


    We're still waiting for those updates, maybe some private stuff came up that lasted a reeaaal long time lol. After all, developers are only human...which is right...but not this one. This one is a con artist.

    I don't blame any of you guys, most of the time we do not want to wait for anything we want it now! But I'm human and eventually I'll fail and some times take more time to do things I thought would take less time.
    Anyways I'm still working on the project, I just don't want to delivery broken pieces anymore, even if it takes more time I'll take my time to do things right no matter what happen.

    @Stiffx any progress on the camera-clipping stuff?
    Maybe you can get an idea from the 3rd Person Character from the Standard Assets. There you have a camera where you can define a sphare radius and other useful stuff!
    Just DONT change too much :)

    use raycast and itween ,for the camera and make for hit tags that is all.

    If you take a look at my camera script you'll see that I already use a raycast solution, my problem is that I bring the camera very close to the hit target, take a look while in edit mode you'll see the camera very very close to the wall. But thanks for pointing that

    If you want to avoid a wall, seems like a sphere collider would do the job. Just move the camera up, and if you hit a ceiling, move it forward or back, depending upon direction facing and the wall location. Keep its look-at target the same, and it should be just fine... In theory.

    The other solution that I can think of, is switching to FPS view mode when the camera can't compress due to obstacles. In fact, a feature request for muuuuuch later would be to give me the option to switch Aiming Mode for FPS. Easily do-able, but would be a nice option rather than another Mad_Mark code-kludge...

    @Pandur1982 Your game looks great. Did you mod TPSA? I think so because of that footkick while holding a weapon.
    Was it much work?

    i have modify this with my own controller for walk and run and swim and so one,and i work with playmaker thats will make my work faster on the game,i love visual scripting :D

    Before i have work with tpsa a while and have make mounting and casting and sword fight but for me and my project is tpsa to mutch buggy,sry.so i have change all and make a roleback with playmaker and sword animset pro.

    Did you try Third Person Controller? Currently the TPC framework has my highest hopes because the developer is really active.
    I am surprised that you use PlayMaker. When I use PlayMaker for the controller of my hero, the frame rate drops from 1000 fps to like 100 fps (so it is 900 fps just for the controller, which made me abandon PlayMaker).
    Again, your game looks REALLY good.

    TPC have i see but i unlike the animations,but i think it is good for a lowpoly game at time.1000 FPS ??? normal are 120 fps for a good pc in a game,on my i have 90 fps thats is ok when i not recording this.at time i ithink is better make your own controller with all feature that i will have in it.at time i work to implant inventory pro in my game then i will work on the controller with movement and attacking with bow and sword/axe.

    @Pandur1982 When you set Edit->Project Settings->Quality->V Sync Count->Don't Sync, then you get the unthrotteled fps.
    Yes, I don't like the animations in TPC either, I see them as placeholders, but I exchange them with Kubold animations where a Kubold animation exists.

    Kubold animations are great, but even in Movement Animset Pro I find missing animations, and Jakup won't fix it (he basically says "What is not there is not there.").
    The problem is that there is nobody yet who would jump in for great Opsive MOCAP animations.
    And I don't have my Perception Neuron suite yet. Maybe in 1 year or so. :)

    Hm i have read the posts but i dont no what animation are missing, on the movement set from kubold you have crouch,run,jump and walk.on the shooter animation have you the same with weapon.For Swiming i use cleaver warrior animations and for a bow i take the animation pack from Mister Necturus.

    are missing.

    In Animationset Pro I am not sure anymore what was missing, I would have to look that up.
    But what I wanted to say is that Kubold should perhaps try to fill the gap of MOCAP animations in TPC. Appearantly he doesn't have the time / motivation, so other MOCAP animators might jump in.

    when you guys realize that this guy a big cheater and liar ? there is a proverb that said's Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. ... as i told you before he is used to do that trick and he only showed up because he got reported and got trouble with unity asset team but because of you guys kept defending him he won time and he will never finish anything

    Thank you I didn't know movement animset I think Iwill try it i actually use ufps and I'm not satisfied with the third person view My rigged alan Wake's movements are not very natural. The GUI look's good too. Big up for your project!

    Looks very cool and unusual (the most important factor for me!). And it is a pleasure to see somebody who creates something that is NOT the typical cartoonish Unity game!
    I put all my hopes in Third Person Controller from Opsive. He is such an amazing supporter, and he will be on the next Unite, so I guess I can not be so wrong with "Third Person Controller".

    to make a third person controller in playmaker is not a big problem. i have make a tutorial serie on youtube :

    on this tutorial you learn how you can bring a third person controller in your game with playmaker.
    The controller can :
    Walk
    Swim
    crouch
    run - comming at night :D

    when you will make a game with all feature i think it is better to make self a controller,we see here all peopel are waiting for update but on the last weeks we see nothing... :( when i look on my project i have make a controller with functions :
    walk,run,swim,crouch,falling,swordfighting like the witcher 3 and at time i have make a car mount system.

    dude he is working on update since february and everytime he shows up he keep lying by saying he is working on update and until now there nothing he is repeating him self when he used the linux_fano account with releasing the zombie kit and promissing them that he is working on update but what really make me angry is that there is some people still believe in him and don t wanna admit that he is con artist

    Do be honest, can't say I believe in any user accounts created in any website ;-) I'm going with the facts and I have to agree wind is not blowing in his direction.

    I didn't want to start another debate, my question was is fact why 1.4 was available on his website and suddenly removed. If it was buggy, you usually release an 1.4.1 patch or something.

    it never was an update he slapped some scripts prenteding that he is working when i downloaded and begin to complain about his work he removed them so the other could not see that he didn t progress at all and was lying all the time

    I think this thread should be closed and if we feel like leaving or updating our review on the asset store would make sense then we should just go ahead.
