@NEBR and @Mad_Mark I've found the issue, my bad:

TPSA_WeaponController.cs line 635 there's a variable tag (witch is the player's tag) that receives the raycast hitted tag. please delete that line. that was my mistake.

Err, my line 635 is a comment. Best be stating which line and the code that needs changing, Stiffx.
    635: /// <param name="_range">float range between player and hit.point</param>

Tell you what. You go ahead and report it to Unity Team, and if you are right, they will take action. If you are wrong, then you have to promise to wear a crotchless chicken suit to your next school function.

Wait, I downloaded the last pack from my website, extracted the project and open... How could your 635 at WeaponController be any different?

@Mad_Mark and @blackbird please let us focus on the TPSA project.

@blackbird I'm not him and you can report that to UT if you want, they will show to you that you are wrong.
And please stop offending me, I already told you what happed, said sorry and I'm still listening you call me things I'm not, I don't wear a mask. I ask you one last time, let us focus on the TPSA project if you still have interest on it.

Mark, I believe you do not understand the situation so completely. If you pay for something then you would also get the product described or do you eat and order a steak where you have to slaughter the cattle still myself? :D

I do not think so. and I say it again like it's no Fanmod and also no crying rum but are called facts.
Your facts however you here are ridiculous show.
That would mean that no matter about which product whatsoever must not complain if it does not work but should then build it yourself?
and no one should his bad experience to say the product will continue to buy because at some point it'll work? hm sorry but it sounds to me very much by fanboy stuff on.

@blackbird, it is really enought now!!!
Pretty much all the assets in the asset store are developed by ordinary dudes with normal daytime jobs, family problems and other obligations.
after all i think it shows great curage for stiffx to come back after all.

Back, phew. IT is HOT up here. Okay, sounds like I'm a fanboy. Haven't been called one of those in many years, so nice change. Back to TPSA then?

Alright Stiffx, can you please post a list of features that you are working on, ETA for each one or each group, and set our expectations accordingly? Bear in mind you are going to get bitched out if you miss an ETA, so make sure you add a slice of time for unanticipated bummers. Better to deliver early and complete than late or "patchy".

    Appreciate your efforts, mate.

LOL, yeah that line is 650 for me. I tend to tinker. Try to see what I can do on my own and fix issues as I find them. I am also using multiple assets and have to ensure that they work together. Sometimes I just stick comments in to clarify what I learn.

    Works a charm now.

Thank you guys, all of you complaining or not you guys are here, appreciate it.

@Mad_Mark I'm creating a list right now, I started to look back to the pages I didn't read while I was out, I'll post it later about what I'll work on and what is done. Anyways I'll remove the download link from the new code because it was not the best idea.

BTW, for what it is worth, when I saved my WeaponController script, a message popped up that the line endings were "different from policy". I chose convert line endings, and now the line in question is 595. Probably irrelevant, but a good reason to follow the "post the code" protocol rather than quoting the line number.

I've seen the message that line endings are different MAC versus PC, but not the policy one before. Interesting...

Policy message is also new to me, we better ask UT what is that about, but I would guess it sounds like monodeveloper stuff.

    Ok guys,

Here is what I have in mind:

    TPSA FIXES

    * Player - Setup (Problems with transforms validation)
    * Player - Walk by default, Run if press shift
    * Player - Resize collider while crouching
    * Player - Crouch with Knife
    * Camera - Better Clipping(avoid walls, for now it avoids wall but stay very close to it)
    * Controller - Easy inspector for player options
    * Weapon - Physics fire not hitting the enemy

those are the most relevant items. If there's anything else please share.

I'll estimate the time to do the list and then I'll be posting here.

    Suggestions:
    1) Player setup is your most pressing issue.
    2) AI setup is in my humble opinion next highest priority, and could borrow heavily from player. Focus on those 2 and make a point release. Optionally if you are a real fast coder, do the easy inspection tool for player and AI. Otherwise, drop that into yet another point release.

    Next version:
    3) Camera clipping adjustment would be next. What about adjusting Y axis if colliding with a wall? Almost a top-down?
    4) Walk by default, run with shift, crouch with knife, and collider adjustments would be logical to group together.
    5) Physics fire not hitting enemy is pretty important, so wrap that into this release too.

    Next version:
    6) Consider the AI movement. They should track the player if in sight, but not when behind walls/doors/etc.
    7) Consider the I in AI. Send the bad guys to the players' last known location and start searching.
    8) Add some random zombie groans. Shouldn't happen often, but sometimes, and especially when chasing a spotted player object.
    9) This is high on MY priority list, a biting attack animation, a squatting to feed animation, and if player is not spotted, but a dead guy or an NPC is, start munching...

It's a start, and only a suggestion. Other folks may have opinions and their own list of priorities and wishes.

Yeah, can you make it easier to spawn the player rather than having it the scene at the beginning? There are so many cross referenced objects that I could never get it to work properly.

Look in your Main Camera for the Gameobject called AudioEnv, there you have an AudioSource with the forest-music.

Hello everyone greetings. A thing to know, when "Fire2" button pressed the player aim and when stop pressing the player also stop aiming. I am not sure about it but is there any way that when "Fire2" button will be pressed just once the player will start aiming continuously until one more time "Fire2" button is pressed to stop aiming?

Yes. Locate the code where the aiming function is called, and add a statement that sets a Boolean variable like "IS_AIMING" to true when the button is pressed. You will need to add an IF/ELSE statement that tests if the IS_AIMING bool is true or false, and turn the aiming on or off accordingly.

If I was at home with code, I could tell you what to change, but alas, I must work to pay the bills....
    Also, see http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/339956/free-aim-down-sights-script-here.html

Thank you @Mad_Mark for the answer...

    Updates about my progress.

Weapons replaced, player setup fixed, now I need to work on the camera, this will require a little more time, First I need to check witch solution is the best then work on it.

Stiffx, are you going to release several small updates as suggested to turn some of those sling and arrows around, or do it all in one big release and risk more disparaging remarks? Either way, time lines are always a good idea. We need to each determine our commitment to the asset, and whether plans and progress warrant our continued attention.

    Just sayin' buddy...

I think he will release it when those features are done:

    * Weapon - Physics fire not hitting the enemy

if im not mistaken, the only feature left is the Camera-Clipping

That's right @chrisoooooooooooooooo1 I was wrong about delivering too much incomplete stuff trying to please you guys. I'll only upload the project once I fix my priority list.

Mean while I'm here to answer every single question.

It's hard to tell, cause I'm trying to avoid changing my camera solution (currently working on the camera solution), Like I said before I'm fixing the list I showed up and I'll deliver the update once all of the items are fixed. But I have a feeling that I can finish it by 3 weeks, I'm working on weekends that's why is taking more time.

That's right, I want to do things right, not going to deliver until it's all done, even if take more time, and I'm sure you guys prefer a working code than a semi working code to complain about.

Thank you all for supporting this thread, I'm working as much as I can on this and I'll not be worry about time, if I need more time to do that I'll be here to tell you guys and ask for your support.
