    This is a Unity FREE and Unity Pro solution for third person shooter games.The aiming is done by IK controllers and you can customize it the way you want. The customization also can be done by Weapon.

    I'm updating the pack this weekend so it will bring the new GUI, Grenade, Melee hit(to kill the zombie) and some small modifications. So hurry up, cause after the update the price will rise.

    Bought it already on release day ;-) That's why I'm so anxious to integrate the new changes.

    Do you have a bit of info on how to integrate a radar. I saw the Radar Camera and TRadar on the TPS_PlayerCamera script but can't figure out how to use it.

    The new thread is ALLLIIIIVE! Awesome. Great to see some more enthusiasm for this pack, it's pretty amazing already, and I'm sure it'll only get better with time. Can't wait for those updates! Love the look of the grenade trajectory. Full cover system/fire from cover would make this THE tps system on the asset store. Nothing else would even compare.

    I'll add the Radar in the next update, "not this weekend" but the next one.

    Would it be possible for you to add some sort of blocking system to go along with the dodging because that would be awesome.

    Also i've seen a few of your videos I want to confirm, is the AI for that zombie included, the basic walk and attack one?

    Hi there,
    It would be possible, but the player has no blocking weapon, and I think adding a shield to this template it's kinda strange haha... But I see no much of a problem adding block system. You could try it, the scripts are not that hard change.

    About the zombie AI, yes it's included.

Right now the pack has enough features to create a TPS game that's for sure, but is also true that I want to update more and more, I just need to be sure that people likes it. The more purchases I have more inspired i'll be to create more features. For example: It has no Grenade trajectory or Melee attack (to kill the zombie) in the last week, but since people started to buy the pack I started to add more features like those. And of course I can listen to you guys about the ideas you have. Anyways this is not the end, just the beginning!

    Just want to stop by, and say that this looks really great. Almost considering purchasing just to help the development of this project. Right now I'm pretty busy working on finishing my pack of creatures. This pack is inspiring me and makes me want to create some side personal stuff. Have to say that a potential road map of what you'd like to add would be pretty great. Maybe a basic intro scene, a character selection scene and some basic quest system or generic requirement to finish a mission / level. Kill all the enemies or part of it / retrieve this or multiple objects / kill the boss / defend this / escort this to point B... combination of all etc...

    Anyways, awesome work so far. And yeah, shooting while under cover and you pretty nailed the basics of a tps that plus basic climbing.

    wow many thanks @rosor you can be sure I'll consider everything you said. I've received so many Ideas I wish I have more time to add all of them to the pack. I really appreciate your support thank you.

    This is what I've thought so far:
    Climb Walls
    Push Objects (like in resident evil to clear the path)
    Shoot from cover.
    Radar Map Camera

    Your ideas of creating a basic level demo is really great, I'll consider it too. I've added a simple script to preview Sponsors images like professional games intro.

    Anyways I got exited with all ideas people are giving to me...

    Looks great! was just thinking about the crouch position, crouch walking ,running, getting under cover and shooting. Sorry to come up with some new potential stuff that you might want to think about. When I see how fast you can implement stuff, I feel that I can't think about new stuff fast enough.

    Just purchased your project. Sorry for the other message... I checked the content of your project and it seems you already took care of the crouched animations. I also noticed that the animations are using the mecanim system. Do the animations need to be on place or do they have to use root motion?

    Hey no problem, I still don't tell people about everything the pack has, it's too much stuff :). All the animations use rootmotion so it can be more realistic.

    what's in the 1.2 version?
    Hope you'll be able to buy it with all the pro Add-Ons! So you can add some special PRO only features and maybe some nice mobile support?? :) hint? lol

    haha who knows :). Anyways the 1.2 version is the one with melee hit to the enemy, UI hud, Grenade trajectory prediction and some fixes.

    Well guys I'm so excited that I can't hold till next week, so I'm going to tell you my next update plan.

    Radar map camera
    Climb wall
    Shoot from Cover
    Key inventory (key ids to store and open doors with same id)
    Key pickup
    Pickup UI (Once you pickup a object will show a UI description of the object picked up)
    Door locked UI
    Push door after unlock with key
    Push Objects (like in resident evil to clear the path)

    Road map sounds good. Regarding the doors opening etc... make sure to be as general as possible and target every genre as possible... if someone wants to do something sci fi then the doors won't be push able. Instead of keys to put in the lock it could be a card to swipe... a part of a body to put in front of a scanner... etc...
    are you going to add some objects pick-able an enemy can drop upon death?
    One last thing, I noticed there is a gentle landing animation but I wasn't able to trigger any jump... just rolls. Do you plan on adding jump and move-able platforms as well?

    Yes the pickup system is ready to pickup anything, you just have to add your logic to pickup what you need, for example at the end of the pickup animation the
    Code (csharp):
    1. void PickUpEnd()
    method is called.

    There I have logic for, bullets, weapons and keys, so if you want to pickup a bag for example you have to create a script to hold your bags quantity and at the PickUpEnd() method check if the object is the type of bag. The object types are located at TPSA_Object.     I have no plan to add jump Up animations by now, cause I have a lot to add the next days/month but we can consider adding in the future.

    Just need to say, really really really fuc****** amazing man, the best controller i bought in years. Unity need to give you a medal or something like this, i recommend. If you are searching for a template to start your project, this is the way.
    Hey stiffx, i want to ask some questions,
    1- any chance for a coop animations in future, like follow partner, or carry your partner in arms like The last of Us?
    2- any chance of a demo scenery for us? graveyard or hospital ll be awesome.

    Well I can't say much "now" because i'm already updating the pack with the road map I've presented here, let's see what happens after the next releases. Yes I'm preparing a demo scene for next release, after the 1.3 version stay put.

    Update.. Pickup Keys system + UI to show picked key



    I want to discuss something with you guys. I'm thinking of selling the pack from pay-pal again in order to publish updates faster. For example the 1.2 version of the pack is taking too long for unity to approve. If it was in my server the update would be available much faster. What do you guys think about it?

    Yeah, it can take a lot of time to the review team to greenlit an asset. Depending on what it is etc... just do your thing and update it as soon as you know that the last update went though.

    Yes, if you don't want to change the Animator controller you can suppress the actions from TPSA_PlayerController just ignoring the button.
