    New version nearly done.
    Added :
    • 8 flowers.
    • 6 mushrooms.
    • 2 rocks.
    • 3 Particle effects: Fog, Leaves falling, Ambient dust flakes.
    Other features:
    • Upgraded current assets.
    • Optimized performance.
    • Reduced draw calls.
    • Optimized texture sizes.
    • Optimized leaf materials.

    New version demo runs at 60fps @4k on my personal computer. Screenshot of new version can be found below. Let me know your thoughts or if you have any requests on things you'd like to see in this pack.

    Working on a new shader to allow for fully custom colour palettes.

    The new update is finished! Will submit it by the end of the week.

    Features :
    • Added new foliage materials and textures to allow for custom colour palettes. Any foliage material can now be customized with custom colour tints, allowing for endless colour combinations.
    • Added 4 new demo scenes to showcase some possible colour combinations: Autumn, Crimson, Alien and Fantasy.
    • Optimized Large Tree Polycount( Reduced it by around 20% with no loss in visual quality).
    • Optimized foliage materials. Now only the trees use Subsurface Scattering instead of all vegetation. Should improve overall performance. You can still assign the SS Shader to all foliage if you wish to.

    Are there any big rocks on the vein of big Cliffs or a cliff rock texture included?

    The different palettes you added look really nice!

    There are 4 rock meshes that are meant for medium to large-sized cliffs and 4 rock meshes that are good for medium to small-sized rocks, so there is a pretty good range. There is also a tileable cliff rock texture included that has smoothness and normal maps as well.It blends well with the rock textures. 141.jpg

    The objects have albedo, normal, roughness and metallic maps. It's not realistic, with values exaggerated for artistic purposes, but it's fully compatible with any PBR renderer and was made following a PBR workflow.

    Oh, ok,
    yeah I was just thinking, PBR is for making things look like they are made of realistic materials.
    But yeah, I get what you mean now, no problem then.

    Is this compatible with HDRP? If purchased we should be able to just put the textures into HDRP materials right? I'm also wondering about the shader compatibility with HDRP, as well as the grass. I can't find a decent way to put grass in my world using HDRP since the terrain detail paint brush isn't working in HDRP at the time.

    This is a beautiful asset and if I could get it working with the grass in HDRP i'd most likely purchase.

    Does the water that is in the video come with asset as well? It isn't listed in the included list. Also, is there a Mac demo as I don't have a Windows computer near me currently :(

    Hi,
    It has all the textures to be compatible with HDRP, but it's a bit of a do it yourself for now. I am working on adding direct support for both HDRP, URP and such, but it's probably going to come by the end of the month.
    So it's up to you if you want to buy it now or wait until HDRP support comes later this month.

    I just tweaked the colours and parameters.I do not have a Mac demo, unfortunately. I can build one but cannot test it since I don't own a Mac at this point. I will see what I can do and update you.

    Hi there. Been a while, been working on the biggest update so far. Update 1.3 will be launched in the following week and contains the following
    Features :
    • Added support for Unity 2018.3+.
    • Added HDRP & LWRP support for Unity 2018.3+
    • Added URP Support for Unity 2019.3.
    • Added new assets: 2 new trees, 1 tree log, 1 tree stump, 7 new grass types, 4 new rocks, 2 background mountain terrain, 4 background mountain billboards, 1 cloud effect.
    • Updated: leaf textures, tree trunk textures & models, flower textures, grass textures.
    Due to these additions, the price will go up to 39.99$ once the new version is out, so grab it quicky while it's still 29.99$.

    Hi,
    It must have been left by mistake in the scene. I will remove the reference to the prefab in the next version, but until then, it should not cause any issues, just clear the error log and it should be fine.

    Hello,
    I've got the asset into Unity 2019.4 URP
    now, how to automatically update all the shaders? I can go through prefabs and update them manually but I am way to lazy.
    If I unpack URP_HandpaintedVol1_2019.3_Update_4 it just gives me shaders with different names (and not all of them - yellow are missing)

    Hi, Currently the URP shaders use separate prefabs. So when you unpack the URP package you can check the meshes/prefab folder to see the new prefabs and you can use those. Some look pink in the browser but when you add them to the scene they should look fine. Not sure why they look pink in the project browser but they work in the scene and game perfectly fine. Hope this helps!

    Hello,

    I import Stylized Fantasy : Forest Environment and URP_HandpaintedVol1_2019.3_Update_4 into an empty project.
    But nearly everything in the scene is pink. I use Unity 2019.3.5f1. URP. How can I fix it?

    Having the same issue Yiwen. I am fairly certain it is an issue with the version of Shader Graph installed (or not installed).

    I have the same issue Yiwen/theterrificcjd. But with HRP and URP. I tried to solve manually and some rocks and flowers work like the screens below changing Shader in the materials. But the rest is not so easy... (REMEMBER UPGRADE MATERIALS! then change Shader one by one)

    Hi,
    Sorry for the late reply. Unity does not send emails when anyone posts in the thread. The demo scene does not support URP/HDRP. In order to use, unpack the URP and use the prefabs with the URP_ prefix, same for HDRP.

    Hi,
    I am receiving an issue for URP shader named URP_HandpaintedBase_Lit - "variable 'inputData' used without having been completely initialized ..... PBRForwardPass.hlsl:20"

    I have tried a fresh project, different PC, different versions of unity - no luck.

    After imported URP, prefabs in the URP folder are pink even in the scene, and then selecting one gives an error described above.
