    Will there be, or is there already support for digital MFDs rather than analog MFDs like in the image attached?

    Are there plans to add an auto-throttle system (perhaps layered on top of existing systems) ? I've read this is a common feature of helicopters and from a game perspective, also seems like an element of simplification for easier 'onboarding' of new players.

    EDIT: Sorry- I found the 'combine collective-throttle' option ! Thanks for thinking of this !!

    Helicopter Hover Height Control: You can set the desired helicopter height and control system will automatically adjust the collective input to keep the helicopter at the set height...even during forward flight

    I checked the docs but that still raises questions does it include things like support for electric engines?
    Where is the information about the addons for weapons mentioned in the asset store page? radar etc? AI?

    All that tree popping is hurting my eyes, would be great to see the effect on grass, even better to see in VR.

    I just love this asset. Tried it yesterday and worked like a charm out of the box.



    It actually makes me want to touch VR again. Inside a Helicopter, but also in the Hover Platform Test you showed above. Is that model available somewhere?

    Hi,
    I'm assessing assets for a prototype flight project and have some questions before purchase.

    I could not run the demo in the web browser as F1 opens help on chrome;-/

    You have a lot of helicopter models and other features (Flir, IR etc) that don't appear to be in the current package.
    What are your plans for these?
    Could you provide a product comparison chart that lists everything you have developed against what the current and possibly future packages will include.
    If you could also do this for your fixed wing package and other assets that would be much appreciated as well. ty!

    I need this for feature planning and it would be very helpful, as it's just confusing at the moment. Your work looks brilliant, but hard to sort out where it's going product wise, which is important if you are relying on it as a key element of your own product.

    The helicopter and aircraft models in videos are just "literal demonstrators" of what can be done with the system. Most of the models are from custom or private projects but the systems and components they demonstrate are all available in the core package.

    For example, the MH-60 is from a private project I'm currently working on and the developed components like the pressable buttons will be integrated into the main asset


    The Thermal Imaging system is a set of post-processing effects from this asset: https://assetstore.unity.com/packag...camera-effects/tnv-thermal-night-vision-96249
    and scripts needed to make it work with the system (Color Switcher) will be included in the next update.
    The MFD Display components are already included in the asset.

    The same thing goes for the Fixed Wing, the control stiffening system (https://forum.unity.com/threads/released-silantro-flight-simulator.522642/page-18#post-5736574) came up in the J-20 project and I've already integrated the changes to the package which will be available in the next update.

    Some of the major things coming to each system in their next updates include;

    1. Rotary Wing;
    a. Improved collision analysis for the blades.
    b. Set of new MFD Components like the read-out displays for the Speedometer and Altimeter
    c. Altitude control system to maintain and position the helicopter at a specific altitude even during manoeuvres (
    )
    d. Addition of the complex mode to the transmission system to accommodate compound helicopter e.g S-97

    2. Fixed Wing;
    a. Control stiffening system
    b. Improved airfoil analysis
    c. Introduction of the dynamic coefficient system
    d. Actuator system to handle Animated gears and engine nozzles.

    The helicopter rotor system can now be fully configured on the "Rotor" component without having to individually set up each blade. The blade properties and shape will be calculated automatically.

    What video? Where is the setup available? Is it in a folder in the project? Does it just work or is there setup involved? What is that setup? So far I just get errors for GUI not working and a million errors for controls. I can recreate the setup myself and hack into your code, but I was hoping that you had a system ready to go. I'm not a helicopter pilot. Do I need to be to use this product? With a working demo I can understand where to create VR controls, but so far nothing is working unless I spend a long time setting up the control system myself, typing in every single control by hand which isn't ideal.

    Hahh.. You should have sent me an email.

    The errors you're getting is because you haven't setup the input.
    All you have to do is go to the asset menu and select "setup input" under the Miscellaneous option (I wrote this in the ReadMe file)

    The VR setup is a separate folder. It requires either Oculus or Steam integration which I can't package with the asset, so I just have a folder setup up that I send to users who need them.

    Just email me your invoice and the integration you use and I'll forward it to you.
