so far its not much of a issue for me because it works with all unity version, except some editor window options like the object search, but other then that no real issues for me.

The asset does not include a advanced boat controller, there are example scripts included that you can use to make a controller yourself.

what for do I need an other water system?
will the built in water work for older mobile devices? (2014, api level 21)
are waves/mesh calculated on GPU or at least on a 2nd thread?

the build in water is just a mesh it does not include waves.
But there are a few supported water system that are made for mobile.
It theres another system you would like to have support for your project contact me at: http://realisticphysics.com
And I will look into it for you.

Hi, support for Crest would be awesome. It has also an example script to sample the wave height.

There are curently some issues with Crest support because the performance inpact of sample the waves height.

Oh, thats very sad. Because I'm switching currently from UWS to Crest. :( I hope there is a way to get RWP working with Crest.

But, any chance of a version with a "beta" support for Crest?

It depence a little about the size (quality) of the thing you want to have floating, preformance was just not up for it an a simple medium quality boat. Its there water system is not good for getting water height.

Send me a email. on the website (realisticPhysics.com) and I can see if i can help you out to get it to work if you really need it.

Is there a ManagerObject that needs to be created to track all the buoyancy objects?
When you create a new buoyancy object, do you have to register it with a manager?
My understanding this is density based not mass. So I won't have to set mass to 900,000 to get certain shapes to work?
Is source included? I've had to debug assets in the past.
