Funky, I bought your proTile map editor a while ago to create my own "voxel" editor but this seams more lightweight. definitely gonna get it. just got some questions:
    - can you define the size of the groundplane/buildable area?
    - i guess the black borders around each cube are just a texture thing? . oh, i see outline on/off. i guess thats it?
    - do you have any plans to expand the usability of the editor? for voxel editor i really like this layered/slice proeach like in spacequbes:

Hi! Sorry for the late reply. :)

Not in the settings but you can build it. :) OR I guess the easy workaround would be just to put a cube in the scene with appropriate tag/name with collider and it should snap. Sound like a good feature to implement tho.

Yes these are textures with outlines.

I might at some point. Basically the idea of this asset is to have something very simple and a good starting point (where proTileMapEditor was built to have all the cool features and all the tools).

In general I'm working on more features and tools for it. I just don't want to overcomplicate it. I want it to be easy, simple and that it's working on runtime. Anything specific you can always add yourself.

Thanks and again sorry for the late reply! Trying to have some vacation and the email / forum is becoming a mess. :)

Is proPixel 3D Paint a subset of the proTile Map Editor 2 functionality?

Hi, no it's a totally separate tool. :) Although they have similar functionality in some parts but just because they are both building tools.

    Hello,
This looks like a useful tool.
Can i use custom tiles of any size/shape with it?

Hi, this tool was built to use cubes (only textures are cuatomizable). If you change the cube to other shape it will work but cant assure anything.

If you want fully cuatomizable tool that works with any shapes ant etc you should check out my other tool that is built for it - proTile Map Editor 2.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Cheers,
    Andrius

Thx for the quick reply !
I think using different shapes isn't very important, what i'm really looking for is the ability to set the size of the tile.Is it already possible with the current version?

Yeah, you will just need to replace (or just change the scale) of the main asset.

Can you add a option to create/load your own color palettes?
Or maybe a feature to load colors from a image?
Also, shortcuts for quickly switching between paint modes would be a great addition.
