I'm happy to announce that Playing With Matches has released our first asset store package, a toolset designed to get fun physics effects quickly and easily!

Playing With Gravity is an easy-to-use tool for anyone to get different types of gravity in your game. Playing With Gravity supports both 2D and 3D gravity, and a variety of gravity shapes. The physics are optimized C# code, and the source code is included and easily extensible, however no coding is required! This package is compatible with all platforms.

    Supported 2D shapes:
    • Rectangle
    • Circle
    • Edge

    Supported 3D shapes:
    • Cube
    • Sphere
    • Plane

Simply attach a Gravity Source shape to any object, set its gravity, adjust its field size, and then attach a Gravity Receiver to any objects you want affected (or combine both) to get fun results! Gravity Sources can either pull like a planet's gravity and magnet, or push like a gust of wind and force field. You can easily set Sources and Receivers to listen only for certain LayerMasks making customized results simple. There are some sample scripts included that demonstrate some ideas! Playing With Gravity works alongside Unity's built-in gravity or can stand on its own.

There are demo scenes with 2D and 3D examples, drag and drop prefabs, documentation, and source code is included in the package. Support is available either via e-mail or here on the forums.
