PBR Material Pack is a growing collection of custom physically based materials. PBR Material Pack works perfectly with the new Unity 5 physically based metal rough(smooth) shader. If you are still running Unity 4 all maps will work perfectly except the Metal & Roughness maps, you will need to create a specular map.

Every material includes a map for,
    • Albedo (A)
    • Metal & Roughness (actually metal smoothness)* (MS)
    • Normal (N)
    • Ambient Occlusion (O)
    • Height (H)

*Unity calls it Metal Rough but the shader uses Metal Smoothness**
**Smoothness is the inverse of Roughness

    Benefits

    • Quick Prototyping
    • Fast Final Game Art
    • Base maps to help you create your own materials fast
    • Monthly Updates
    • Unique Naming Scheme to avoid name conflicts and ambiguity(see below)
    Naming Scheme (example)

    TilePlain_Set_0000_A_00 (Set 0 Albedo Map Variant 0)
    TilePlain_Set_0000_N_00 (Set 0 Normal Map Variant 0)
    TilePlain_Set_0000_N_01 (Set 0 Normal Map Variant 1)
    TilePlain_Set_0001_O_00 (Set 1 Occlusion Map Variant 0)

    Monthly Updates

Every month the Material Pack will get larger. Meaning buy now and get updates every month before the price increases (Note: At some point I will have to stop updates, tentative version 1.x).

Below are a few of the materials included at the time of this posting.

The bitmap materials are a mix of 1024x1024 and 2048x2048 textures. The substance files have a dynamic reolution from 128x128 to 2048x2048.

So the substance files will support 256x256, but it should be noted there might be some odd artifacts that occur at that low of a resolution.

If you do end up purchasing the pack and come across any wierd issue you can always shoot me a message and I can fix it up.

    Hope this helps, Randy
