    Hi Guys!

I'm happy to announce that my Old Inn Scene + Modular Asset Pack has been released in the Unity Asset store.

This fully handcrafted scene features an old tavern with a barroom in the upper floor and a cellar beneath it. Everything was modeled, then sculpted and then painted by hand.

Asset Store Link: [GET IT HERE]!

    A few facts:
    • 74 FBX Meshes
    • 58 Highres Textures, nearly all hand painted
    • 33 Materials. For more even more variation you can change the materials on prefabs!
    • 65 Prefabs for easy drag'n'drop level creation
    • everything handcrafted with lots of love :)
    • Oculus Rift Support built in

The scene is properly lightbaked and uses effects such as light shafts. In addition to the scene, everything is split up into modular prefabs to enable you to create your own medieval inn, tavern, cellar or dungeon.

If you have any questions, feedback or requests - feel free to contact me here or per email. I really put a lot of time and effort in this package, I hope you guys like it and find it useful.

    Wow !!!

Some of the best work i have seen

Is it easy to make the floor tiles smaller ? Like half size and more of them

Also is it possible to provide a 4.3.4 support ? Like upload from 4.3.4, since everyone would have to install 4.5.0 to download it, while there is no real reason to since this is a models pack

I just wish there was a "download at your own risk" button when using an older Unity version :)

    Thanks a lot nasos!

The floor tiles are just prefabs (3x3), scale them down and put them next to each other, everything is quite modular :)

I actually had a few problems when trying to submit this with 4.3.4 (was generally very buggy for me, it was never visible to the asset store folks for reviewing), so I updated to 4.5 - but you could just download it with 4.5 and drag the folders into a 4.3 project in until this is fixed.

I will probably have to install 4.5.0 at some point, since many assets now demand it, so no problem :)

The thing is that i still use 4.3.4 so i can support older installations for my Particles pack, that is why i dont have 4.5.0 yet

I will do a review for sure :)

EDIT: Review done, the asset is spectacular to say the least, well done

Hope the review helps decide to bring more AAA material to the store :)

EDIT 2: What is the OVR directory ? Also the image effects that are in the Editor directory, are new versions or the standard ones from Unity ?

    thanks for the kind words.

the OVR directory is the oculus rift support that is built in the scene (switch from first person controller to oculus rift controller if you happen to have one). if you don't want oculus rift support you can delete the folder and the oculus first person controller.

the image effects are unitys standard image effects for the pro version.

if you have any more questions, I'm here to help :)

I have now worked with the tavern inside my game and i have to say, this is hands down unbelievable work :).

Well done again, i will be tweeting this regularly so everyone may find out about one of the top AAA asset on the store.

Currently i am trying to implement cloth in the stunning curtains and make it even more dynamic. Everything looks so sweet

The pillows alone would be worth the price of the pack :)

Are there any plans to create a Medieval Fairy like castle ? One with lots of round elements and roofs, plus playfull structure in walls etc (like exaggerated tops) and modularity. There is nothing similar around.

Thank you very much Nasos. I'm happy that my stuff is useful to you. At the moment, I dont really have a lot of time to work on new stuff, but I like doing medieval stuff - maybe I'll create something in that direction.

PS: Oh and I'd like to see some screens of your game sometime :)

I am sure to get such detail requires lot of time and effort, so the suggestion implies making such an asset in a depth of time anyway :)

As for pics, I have asked Unity and i can show pics if i activate and use the Pro trial, so i may release new proper pics soon (developers time soon) :) or maybe i send some in your way sooner :)
