[RELEASED] NVIDIA DLSS - Upscaling for Unity [Built-in and URP]

    rtx 3090. Same issue with the Demo project, but I realised that I am probably on an too old version of Unity...
    I misread the store page description. I am on unity 2020...

    Thanks, I don't have it available for download at all, I suppose that is also why the Install Package button broke. I guess I will need to update my Unity Editor version, unless there is manual download somewhere.

    Unity introduced DLSS to HDRP in version 2021.2 I believe.
    As my asset currently ports Unity’s implementation to URP and Built-in, you will need to update to 2021.2 minimum to use it.

    How do I remove the asset from my project properly? My project uses a two camera solution and therefore wont work with this DLSS project, how can I remove it from my project? Currently just turning it off makes unity crash, and in general I've had numerous issues with this asset.

    Will two cameras not work if only one needs to use dlss? One of my cameras is for a mini map other is for the player.

    Also what if I have a 1st person and VR camera in the scene with only one active at a time?

    If you delete all Alterego Games folder, that should be enough, additionally you can remove the scriptable defines in the player settings:

    I just tested this for you, as long as only 1 camera uses DLSS, it works in my demo projects for both BIRP and URP. If you run into any issues, please let me know!

    Any idea why the Enum shipping with DLSS isn't showing the Off option? Is it colliding with FSR?

    Both FSR 2 and DLSS have their own internal enums, for FSR 2 I used my own enum, for DLSS I decided to use their enum for cleaner code. Unfortunately it doesn’t have an “off”. I’ll see if I can add it!

    I have to ask. Does the URP version support VR?
