Hello everyone! I released first package of the series "ModularIt!". The product is focused on ease of use. Asset includes a floor generator and other 'cookies' to simplify the life of the developer. Here's a few images. More details and video on AssetStore.

    Now v 1.1 is available!

This looks nice! Especially the scripting aspect. But I have a few questions and suggestions.

    1) Does this have an exterior? I see no openings to the outside world, so it seems to be an entirely underground parking garage.

    2) Where are the entry / exit points for the garage? How does it match up to the office / shopping center / hotel or whatever it is attached to? Also, it might be good to build in entry / exit arrows, and those bar + chain things at the entrance that are to warn you if your vehicle is too tall.

    3) If it was to be used as a raised parking garage, it would need an open top level.

    4) All parking garages I'm familiar with need an elevator for handicapped people. Even if you don't supply a working elevator, it would be good to have elevator shafts / doors in the plans. They could be built into the stairwells, in that there could be a stair + elevator model option.

    5) Some grunge textures would be a plus. It's nice to see a clean garage, but ... I've never really seen one so clean before. ;)

    6) If you're putting in an elevator shaft for people, another possibility to consider would be a freight elevator shaft, which could be used to transport vehicles, or for people living in an apartment building to use when moving furniture in and out.

Thank for your reply. I will show a few screenshots to make my answers more exhaustive

The floor with the window has such a look from the box. For closed floors, the exterior is not automatically generated, but you can arrange parts of the walls manually, you can use "Modular Builder Helper" to speed up the process. "MBH" can shift object position by mesh size, So that there are no gaps between objects.
    2.png
Inside the package there is a standard door, the WallController allows you to quickly make an apperture for it. You can associate the parking with the office / shopping center / hotel or something else to which it is tied through the door.

More objects may be in next update, after i finish work on current project.
    3.png
Just create stage with Wall Type = 2 and manually delete up parts of stage.
    4.png
In the package there is a generator of stairs to organize the height you need.
Elevator is a good idea, maybe in the next update. Purchases of the package is motivate to add more stuff and more often)
Freshly build object or freshly repaired. But I seriously think about the decal of mud / oil.
    Accepted.

Thank you for your answers. :)

It would be great to see some exterior shots of the garage.

I'm thinking this could be the best parking garage solution in the store.

Focus in package on the interior, but the exterior can be too. If the asset is in demand, there will be a better quality exterior.

Sounds good! I don't know how much demand there is for parking garages, but this one is very nice.

I have another suggestion for you, if you're ever thinking of further expansion: suburban outdoor parking lots. I don't think there are any resources in the asset store for parking lots.

Working on a big update. After the update, perhaps the package will become more expensive, have time to buy it)

I like the look of this asset package, but I have to ask. Can this be used to create outdoor single-level parking lots as well, or is it only meant to produce parking garages?

The text file says "Camera need 'Post Processing Stack' - free on AssetStore." But I can't find that. There's a Post Processing Stack V2 for $15... Don't want to have to buy another asset to get this asset to look right.

If there's a free one, can you post link?

ALSO, I bought this because it looked like it has a Builder that will generate a garage for me, positioning things correctly, but I've been through all of the menus and cannot find anything that looks like that. I don't see any scripts that can do it either. You don't seem to have any help files or documentation. I could use a little help here.

Probably where you would find the post processing is in your Packages list. Unity organizes things differently now from when this asset first came out.

Well, my project already has Post Processing on it. But there's a missing script on the Parking Post...

I still don't see how to use the Builder. Anyone know how to get to this screen?

The missing script is probably for compatibility with an older version of PP. Don't worry about it. As for the Builder, while I don't have Unity open right now and I haven't used this in a long time, maybe check Tools at the top? Or Windows?

I appreciate all of the help, but I already checked those. I think I figured out that you have to manually add the scripts to an object, and then these show up in the inspector.

But I've still not seen one that looks like this one, or anything that can create anything close to looking like the demo.
