Thanks for the kind words Teila!
We are definitely planning to release more asset packs in the near future. What asset pack themes would you like to see from us?

Instantly bought it! Awesome package : )
Will there be some updates to this or do you plan on making more with stone age/iron age setting?

Oh, I never answered your question! I like the realism in your pack and the small details. I would love to see assets in a tribal environment, maybe something you would see in Celtic settlements or pre-1066 and less fantasy, more historical. It is tough to be specific because you have so much in this pack!

Maybe long houses and small thatched cottages of field stone with holes for fires in the roof rather than brick chimneys, more crude furniture with lots of furs (love your furs). More types of tools and pottery, although you did pretty well with that. Cottages with space for animals would be nice.

One idea might be an expansion on the iron theme with objects used in the production of iron. Not necessarily a forge, but a charcoal burner, mining tools, etc.

Honestly, just more of what you already have! :)

Those are some great suggestions thanks! I think a primitive forge would be cool to add.

Some people noticed some problems with the pack, we are not sure what happened, but we've just uploaden a new version of the pack that should fix everything:

    Changelist:

    - More consistent file names
    - Fixed import settings on some meshes and textures
    - Fixed convex setting on some mesh colliders
    - Removed superfluous animators
    - Removed some useless files

I was playing the demo and my mind just started to come up with miriads of game ideas. Teila is right, we need more assets like this and frankly we need more games about this. You have 999 survival games with zombies and islands and forests set in our time or fantasy. But what about historical? The iron age, that was the real survival right there..

    Hey everyone,
Thanks a lot for these nice comments! We are really happy you guys like the pack, it means a lot! A nice review on the Asset Store is always appreciated too, this helps us a lot. :)

We are currently in talks with some museums to make some real historic and educational visualisations/games in the same style as the demo scene. We made a simple webpage to promote this idea:
    http://www.lugus-studios.be/IronAge/index.html

In case we manage to close the deal we'll try to share some of these new assets with the Unity community.

Fantastic! As a history lover, I like this sort of stuff. Museums are great but it is much better when you can show visualizations that immerse the visitors in history. Glad you found a way to use your skills for something meaningful. :)

And wow, it would be great if you share more with us!

I'm considering buying this, the meshes are great, if at times a bit low-poly. The texturing however is pretty outdated, so I'd have to retexture most of the assets...
