I'm happy to announce that my HueShift Shader is finally available in the Unity Asset Store in an updated version. Bring variation to your 2D assets - easy and quick - by adding color variation.

    Features
    • Change the hue of your materials within seconds
    • Limit the color change to an adjustable color range
    • Works with Shader Model 2.0
    • Includes a small shader to create an invisible object that casts shadows
    • Custom material inspector for quicker workflows
    • Does not saturate white color ranges
    • Includes an example, QuickStart PDF

Tested on Webplayer, Windows, Mac OS and Linux.

I updated the description above. Also, the shader is available as a daily deal in the Asset Store today.

An extended version with support for the new Unity Sprites and variation without needing to instantiate new materials is in development.

Hey I just bought the shader but when I try create my own textures I get these weird compression looking glitches?
What am I missing? (I'm using unity 5)

Looks like Unity changed the default sprite shader for Unity 5.0.
But that shouldn't be a big hassle. I wanted to migrate the shader to Unity 5 anyways. I'll take care of it

A new version is in review by Unity and should be available soon. I had to change some things in the sprite shader to adapt it to Unity 5. I will rework the included QuickStart and the sample images afterwards.

Any word on the review process? Doesn't look like the new version is up yet.

Yes, I had to rework it - there was a quirk left (the Sprite Shader changed quite a bit with Unity 5). The new version is in review and should hopefully be online by the end of the week.
