It does look very nice! I'm kind of kicking myself for not having bought it when it was on the 24-hr sale. ;)

Hi everyone! Here's a new WIP screenshot from the coming update. This kitchen is almost done. I've added the ability to change the walls and the kitchen set colors, so you can adjust them as you want right inside Unity. I will show you, how it works a bit later. Stay tuned!

I'm already at the finish line. Only very small props left like photo frames, magazines, DVD stacks on the shelves and etc. I really appreciate your patience!

Hi guys! Here's one more WIP screenshot from the upcoming update, that you will see very soon. For this time it's a family room with the fireplace and built-ins. This room is almost fully filled with props, and only very few props left here: photo frames, clocks on the wall and some other.

You're an outstanding modeler, and on top of that have a bit of mastery for material properties. Sorry it's unrelated to the actual asset, but I'm sure the asset speaks for itself.

I think no, little bit later. I want to make second demo scene with the baked static lighting, so it will be much optimal for users, who want to use this demo scene as a start point on mid- and low-end devices. Also I'm preparing not announced bonus, that I will include in this package, so I hope you will be pleasantly surprised =)

I've remade the fire shader, now it has an emission instead a linear dodge mode. So it perfectly interacts with the bloom post effect now.

Also, from the shots it looks like you're doing a night time version as well? (Something I asked about in the past) *Excited*:D

Wow! I've counted all the props I've made for the upcoming update. It counts 203 unique prefabs, which can be used in any other environment, not only in this house!
Almost all work with this update is finished, now I'm starting to polish the demo scenes, correct the lighting and work on customization abilities. I think you will like this update, guys, because it will be very and very flexible :)
Thank you all guys who support me!

The only thing I would critique is the low poly door handles and the weird white edges on the boxes, it almost looks like an outline toon shader. Other than that it looks great.

    Hi,
How much poly is fully completed house? Can midrange graphic card handle 10-12 house in one scene?
    Thanks.
Edit: What is the new price is going to be?

I presume if you use Occlusion Culling you could get decent frame rates if you bake the lighting and have a large amount of the assets as static and keep effects etc to a minimum but realistically it completely depends on what exactly you're doing and wish to achieve

Edit: From owning this asset pack I can say it is highly optimized in regards to polygons however I am only using one house and with real-time photo realistic lighting it runs slow on mid-range graphics cards but that's more a unity/graphics card issue and not one with this asset

I'm surprised that it should be so processor intensive. I don't own this, but I can't think of anything in it material or poly wise that would be so demanding. Check to see if you have one or more reflection probes that are updating in realtime on every frame, or something like that. Often a demo scene will have something of that nature, to bring out all possible detail - or maybe a bunch of camera effects - but you may not want to run it quite like that in your game.

It's hard to say about poly count, because realtime shadows increase poly count. I will count it before release. If you put 10-12 houses with the all props inside, it will be very-very slow, of course. But you can disable all inner props when you are staying far from the house, so in this case FPS will be very high, because only empty houses will be rendered. Also, most performance drop happens due the image effect called SSR (Screen Space Reflections). With this effect I have 70-80 FPS, and without it it shows 140-160 FPS with the realtime lighting setup (not baked), so it's exactly twice as higher. It's on GTX 980.
About the price. I think it will be increased to $70.

    Hi guys!
I'm really excited to show you what I was working on last few day :)
In this video you will see the process of interior creation with the help of the modular interiors system which will be available as a bonus content in the upcoming HQ Residential House update. The house is ready, I'm working on video-demo. It will be released in next few days!

It's about 135k for the whole demo scene. Without dynamic shadows of course.

I honestly feel like I should be paying more for this update.
But you've definitely got a fan, cus I've got almost all your assets already.

Can't wait to see what you work on next.
