Hierarchy Icons contains two often used modules for quick and easy work: Hierarchy Icons & Hierarchy Sorting module.

Prefab connection status:
• Disconnected
• Broken
• Have Changes

Object errors status:
• Errors in children objects
• Missing meshes
• Missing scripts

Visibility buttons give to you quick preview of visibility of objects In scene view.

Hierarchy Sorting module adds Alphabetical sorting into hierarchy inspector.

Hello,

In the documents it said I could move this asset to a different folder. When I tried to move it, the asset stopped working. I needed to move it because it uses something like "using UnityEditor" code which prevents a project from compiling. Maybe there is a way to change installation so this does not happen.

 

You can move scripts ONLY inside any subdirectories of "Assets" project folder (scripts must be visible in "Project window").
We provide new version today. I`ts not generate errors on compiling process. Please contact to DAzBjax.Unity@mail.ru and give us "invoice number" we will send you new version! In other case, new version under review now.

 

Alphabetical sorting is not working, please fix in 5.4. The plugin throws the error here:

Assets/DAX/Editor Extensions/Hierarchy Extensions/DAX_HierarchyAlphabeticalSorting.cs(8,14): warning CS0618: `UnityEditor.BaseHierarchySort' is obsolete: `BaseHierarchySort is no longer supported because of performance reasons'

 

For Unity 5.4.0 and Higher:

1. Delete "DAX_HierarchyAlphabeticalSorting.cs" script
2. Go to menu : "Edit->Preferences" then in "General" section check "Enable Alpha Numeric Sorting"
3. Check "Alphabetical Sorting" in TopRight corner of hierarchy tab
