The features include variable grid size.
Is wire thickness also adjustable or not?

aah not on sale :( can this grid shader be combined with the other wireframe shader you have?

also any future improvement to support lwrp? or node version? I may have a use case for it in a project but its likely to be moved over to lwrp in the future

It is not possible now, since they use different algorithm.

We have plan to support to lwrp and shader graph in the future. But it is still in early development stage.

We will have LWRP and shader graph support in next update. Stay tuned.

Hi, I have purchased your asset, I am using the PBR shader in LWRP mode and I seem to have 2 problems:
    • a second grid is stuck there along with the one I am modifying, I cannot find any reference to it in the shader graph, it takes the same color & thickness but not orientation & spacing, weird (must be me)
    • Also, the checkbox relating the grid to object space (or world space I imagine) doesn't seem to work, I gather it's the thing that allows the grid to stay the same size on screen when the object moves around in 3D space, or to become smaller/bigger at the same rate the object does when it moves in space.
hoping to hear from you!, best, PG

And when I move away from the cube: the grid stays the same size on screen, trying to turn that off, thanks for your prompt reply btw! Same cube as above for you to compare. |Cheers! P

There are 2 options to control the grid scale and orientation.

    Screen Shot 2019-07-09 at 8.37.03 PM.png

"Use world space" : This control the orientation of the grid. If enabled, the grid will align with the world. i.e. The grid will position related to the world space. If disabled, the grid will align with the object and move with the object.

"Spacing related to object" : This control the scale of the grid. If enabled, the grid spacing will change when object scale changed. Else, the scale will be constant whatever the object scale change.

I cannot get the second grid you mention from your project. I am using 2018.4.f01 for testing. Could you try using newer version of Unity to try if solve the problem?

From the example images, it's not quite clear-- if you have it on "normal" does that just cull backfaces or is it actually marking depth even where it's transparent so that it hides any concave eye-facing geometry behind the front faces?

It will "see" inside if you enable double side option. Else, it will cull all face in the back.

But if you use LWRP, it a bit tricky. You need two shaders to achieve the double side effect. One for front culling and other back culling.

    Hi, thanks for looking in,
so the "Use world space" function does not deactivate, on or off doesn't change the fact that the grid isn't scaling with the object. The second grid that I mentioned should not be there, no idea how it appeared, see again the screenshot: I put 2 arrows showing the orientation of the unwanted grid, the other grid is like I want: world space-oriented. upload_2019-7-11_9-47-20.png

They are normal. Since the cube is 3D and the line cut thought the cube,.

I try your project in 2018.4 and no yellow line. Could you try it on a new Unity version.

Hey man, thanks for your support, I'm done here, I'll get this done myself some other way, it seems you can't see there are 2 grids here and I am out of ways to tell you. The 2 grids are black and one shouldn't be there and I highlighted it in yellow and in red too and re-wrote you messages, sent my file etc... You cannot see it. So just forget it OK? Bye.

Sorry for that. You may need to contact asset store for refund. I cannot do it by myself.
