    Hello! We purchased this plugin last Friday, but we're seeing a lot of null pointer exceptions trying to make it work on our project.

    The worst one is:

    NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
    BreakingTheCode.EasyPedestriansCreator.NodesGizmoDrawer.Update () (at C:/Users/HHPC/Desktop/BreakingTheCode/_TOOLS/EasyPedestriansCreator/____VSProject/EasyPedestriansCreatorEditorLib/Editor/Helpers/NodeGizmoDrawer.cs:66)


    It happens when we try to run our scene in Play Mode of the Editor.

    Could you help us with this issue?

    Do you have the last available version (1.c)? In theory fixes that problem for newer Unity versions (2017, f.e.)

    Hi! Just updated to 1.c and is working now. Thanks!

    We had also some issues setting the velocity of the pedestrians, like the slowest setting is too fast for a normal walk speed.

    We'll check if this is fixed on this version! And let you know as well!

    Nice to read that.

    There is a new version incoming with a lot of new features for very soon, a slowest speed can be included very easy. If you don't want to wait the store updates just send an email ( breaking_the_code@hotmail.com ) to get the last updated version. Feedback is really appreciated!


    ps. Already done, down limits are now 0 for all movements.

    The tool is not selling well, so next version will have a lot of changes: new tools inside and templates of multiple types (trying to use free asset from the store). The price will be increased, so maybe this is the best moment to get one copy :D

    Just a "teaser":




    All free from the store (models and sounds) except the tool, of course. Runs very well on old mobiles (just removing the image effects)

    More news very very soon ;)

    As said before price will be increased, and probably the name will be changed soon because Easy Pedestrians Creator is now just a tool inside the entire package, not only the main tool.

    Hi! I really like Easy Pedestrians Creator 1.0d and earlier but I just wanted to mention a problem I've been having when importing it into Unity 2017.3.1f1. One of 3 things will happen:

    a) Unity will crash.
    b) I'll keep getting errors when I try to open the EPC window and won't be able to use it (sorry I didn't copy the errors, I will next time).
    c) It'll import and work just fine.

    These 3 things seem completely random and it doesn't seem to matter if it's imported into a clean project or not although Unity seems to crash more often when EPC is imported into a clean project.

    I did manage to get it to import into my project so all's good and it's working great now but I just thought I should mention what's been happening.

    Hello BV123.

    Seems to be not much important as it is solved in the end (looks like some kind of importing issue with Unity importer) but it's an inconvenience for final user and maybe the problem can be solved directly uploading directly an specific version for the earlier versions of Unity.

    Are there any fix for Unity 2018.2?
    I am using Unity 2018.2.16 and it crashes Unity right after importing.
    Please help.

    Checked on Unity 2018.2.16 and works perfect. Not sure where your problem is, can you remove your library folder to reimport all?

    Hi.
    Strangely enough when I have imported Easy Pedestrians Creator today, it works!
    The only difference was, that I have used the new Unity assets store to import your asset.
    Lesson learned - always try to use new asset store to import the assets.
    It does not hurt, if you will update asset store with your last available version, though ;)

    Is this asset scriptable? I'm looking for a pedestrian system to incorporate in a program that is 100% generated at runtime (Mapbox and EasyRoads3d).

    Hello. I purchased this asset yesterday. I followed the Vimeo tutorial step for step. However, the characters just walk in place instead of automatically moving along the paths like in the video. Am I doing something wrong?

    Do we still have to keyframe each individual sub-character that is generated?

    EDIT: Scratch that keyframing question. I just realized you can't keyframe the characters because they are generated on the fly
