    You could but how about their billboard system? and they have wind saved at model AO, we do not support wind yet.

    @NatureManufacture Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying. I'd love to use your asset -- it looks fantastic -- but I want to use SpeedTrees. If you are able to add support someday, I'll gladly take another look.

    - better triplanar shading
    - flickering ice shader without lightmap static option
    - small fixes with AO
    - and much more;)
    Ice world:

    Hey looks all greate, but i think the grass looks a bit ugly, it is possible to combine your asset with
    DirectX 11 Grass Shader ??

    It could co-work with uNature, | havent time to make it compatibile with dx11 grass but talked about this with it's author so yeah we will add this some day. Unity terrain grass always look ugly:D:D

    @NatureManufacture , will this work on your unity tree packs and say forsts's tree packs yet? What about other grass and rock assets besides Speedtree?

    Looking good so far, I'm just curious about the slider feature ability. Does it apply to the entire terrain or can it be localised for specific smaller biomes and areas of the terrain?

    Not yet, because we didnt modified unity tree shaders and we cant modify speedtree shaders. We will ask speedtree but until now nope.

    This asset looks amazing and definitely something I need for my project. However, I'm days away from receiving my beta of Terrafirma and I'm curious whether or not you've hooked up with @Murpenstien to insure compatibility.

    How many textures can I use in unity terrain, I see you use only four, it is maximum? If yes when will be available version with more textures?
    How look coop with Gaia ?
    What about wind?
    BTW. This look awesome;)

    Congrats, Bart! Looks beautiful but ahhh, speedtrees. Too much invested in those fluffy green things. :)

    I finishing terrain shader with @AdamGoodrich which I mentioned in pack description:) Its faster then unity terrain it support: heighblend, tesselation(in 2nd release), ao, normal albedo, specular, dynamic snow, geological map , global normalmap, perlin detail, triplanar and everything in 1st pass so its extremely fast.
    After that I will add dynamic nature compatibilty ( terrain blending feature and much more)

    That sounds great, but I'm going to be using Terrafirma for terrain. Will it be possible to integrate with that new asset?

    This shader works with any terrain or mesh. You only have to input splatmap like in unity terrain.

    You might want to get with the author, @Murpenstien to confirm. His system is not quite like any mesh or standard Unity terrain solution. He said it might take some work to integrate something like this.

    Probably splatmap info will be different then unity terrain.

    Is there a development thread for the terrain shader? I'm a Megasplat user and am curious about your system. It looks nice.

    CTS+ Dynamic Nature + rocks from megascans. Ground texture library is will be included in shader pack. Water texture is simple ground texture not water system:)



    Version 1.3 Probably released in 28.06.2017
    - 100% compatibility with CTS terrain shader (all shaders)
    - snow cover changes to even more realistic
    - normalmap fixes
    - special terrain compresed shader
    - AO slider changes
    - dx11 grass compatibility

    You saw that with cts and enviro:). Hmm more compatibility will be when I will finish cts shader performance and few features. Proprably i will start in monday.

    I'm running Unity 5.6.0f3. Just downloaded Dynamic Nature Starter, mostly because I was looking for some great nature assets -- trees, rocks, etc. Imported it, opened the "Dynamic Nature Starter" demo scene. All the trees are mostly white.

    And here is what the prefabs all look like:

    What might be the problem? I've done nothing but download, import, and run the demo scene.

    Also check if there is no missed textures.

    Okay, thank you, the scene seems to be fine when I adjust the snow level.

    However, these 4 trees at the top level (tree_birch_01, etc), are all white (no texture at all) independent of snow level. They have "Default-Material" set.

    But then every prefab in these "Prefab" subfolders show up just fine with their materials.

    If I drop these in the scene, they show up find, but don't react to the snow.

    So I feel like I'm missing something fundamental about how this is supposed to work or which I am supposed to use. Any help is appreciated!

    Models are white. You have to use prefabs. Models are mesh container. Prefabs have all data.This avoid mess during reimporting, importing assets.

    I will upload wind support and optimisations next week:)!

    We found that asset have problem with 2017 unity. We will fix this asap, easy pie. Btw assetstore had problem with download it... it also miss some files so we will send version directly for 2017 unity as we fix this.

    Edit:
    I've fixed everything tommorow I will upload new version. Should be available in few days.

    i have test the scene with enviro in unity 5.6 but the scene is broken missing scripts. think the new version from enviro made this problem can you fix the demo scene and can you made a demo scene with enviro + CTS

    maybe this isn't the topic, but i looked in everywhere a "texture soil plowing" (for my farm game)

    Hi, I have just started testing dynamic nature and looks fantastic. I was wondering though is there a setting for adding a wetness effect. The rocks look amazing but I hoping to find a way to wetlook them when it raining. Even a specular hack would do.

    You should be able to control specular and smoothnes = wet

    buyed this morning but i have a error on Import

    Failed to import package with error: Couldn't decompress package
    UnityEditor.Web.JSProxyMgr:DoTasks()
    now i Need to wait days/weeks/month of a fix ?

    I've just sent ticket to unity store manager, we had problem with long review time (bug on unity server), I reuploaded this as they ask and now this.. This means that there is something wrong there. Let me talk with them.

    And updates for the demo scenes the most include demo scenes not working

    One demo scene missing camera
    One demo scene have Pegasus inside and camera missing why Pegasus not all have Pegasus
    The enviro demo have missing prefab of enviro
    The uvx demo have black points in the trees

    Really sad but at the moment no demo is really working

    Missing objects you could simply remove nothing more. They not affect anything.
    Black points? any screens? Did you download latest version which I uploaded few h ago?
