    Create realistic, beautiful, believable weapons in a minutes with the DarkTree FPS system!

    Almost finished with AI sample, created melee weapon and lader climbing ability. Also I have steampack healing script from my old project and want integrate it with next update. Wait for v1.1 in next week:)

    Changelog:
    - Added NPC class (under heavy development)
    - Added Melee weapons
    - New weapon slot system (now up to 9)
    - Camera lean (Q/E) in FPSController.cs
    - Ladder climbing in FPSController.cs
    - Removed some bugs (reticle while aiming, and other)
    - Added player health (death, respawn) PlayerHealth.cs
    - Fixed reticle like in usual shooters (see in WeaponManager.cs)
    - Shooting spread with movement influence (see spread in WeaponSettings)
    - Cosmetic improvements

    Hi I'm really interested to purchase your asset but before i would to ask some questions...
    - is a melee weapon system planned to be added?
    - is melee ai planned to be added ..like zombies ect?
    - is inventory system a visual inventory?
    - can the system be easily extendeable, to add custom weapons ,enemies, customizr player health script t add eventually hunger thirst ect?
    - do you pan to add a save system to the asset?
    - is there a demo and a documentation for the asset??

    and cpuld eventually AI work out of the box.. since i have my fps system done yet but i tried your demo based on 1.1 and found AI very impressive...

    Hi!
    - Melee weapon already in v1.1.
    - I can create zombie AI if you need. I asking my customers for features they need.
    - Inventory system will be grid based with individual weapon slots.
    - Consumable system is planed and can be released early if you want:)
    - I can give you a guarantee that AI will work out off box. AI have very simple but effective algorithm that can be extended with your needs.
    - Code is commented and documentation included to the asset. Also, you can write me if you have issues or suggestions.
    - System have custom weapon editor. You can create weapons in 1-2 minutes without adding components manually

    Hi and many thanks for your reply
    if you can create zombie ai if would be great
    same for consumables
    and if AI work out of the box as you wrote and really saving system is planned and added (with player stats, ammos wepaons , enemies dead ect, player stats and inventory between levels ) i'm going to purchase it for sure right now...
    confirm these and i'll purchase asset instanlty and give you a five stars review on asset store since this could really help the assed visibiity

    p.s. i tried the demo aswell and i think that melee animations need some tuning(but i think rhis depends form animations itself so if i have better animations for my weapons problem is solved i suppose..right)

    and last but not least...

    could throwable weapons be added in the current state of the asset like grenades etct? and..weapons like bow/crossbow with arrows that can be eventually picked up again after throwing??

    Yeah, throwable weapons are in plane. Honestly, I do not thought about consumable system, but I'm sure that it could be really simple to write main logic with tutorials. So for now I concentrated on making inventory because it main core of consumable system. Once it will be done I will work on consumable system and it will be in v1.3 i think... It's about month or two.

    Melee for now is on example stage. It implemented to the asset but has not been polished well. I will work with it if you have need of this feature.

    i think consumables are really important since player can regain health etc..
    and what about my question regarding bow/arrow system?do you think it's doable?
    and Ai system is really easily extendsible to acheve some sort of melee/zombie ai?

    Yes, bow and arrows are doable but I need to remake some system parts before. About AI. Yeah it simple. Send me to pm what states for zombie you want to have and I will release them with the next version. You can't create zombie now because my npc animator is too complicated for them. I will do special class for zombie and special animator.

    ok thanks again for your reply I purchased your asset right now.... i really hope you could make whatt you twrote to me ..
    about zombie states i need , patrol, wandering, idle, follow to target, seek and attack...and maybe a noise sensor would be great for both zombie and standard AI ...

    yes I'll do , I hope the asset will continue be updated even in near future...since Realistc Fps Prefab is dead this asset has a chance to grow into something bigger

    Will this get full body awareness some day, to see the feets and change the Player model ?
    Is it easy to change the arms and weapons ?
    How can i change the weapons in the demo, can`t find it ? Weapon change with the mousewheel wood be nice.

    Hello. Yes, I will create full body awareness after next update. You can create new weapons with the weapon wizard. About mouse wheel, i will include that, thanks for suggestion

    Doesn`t this work with Unity 2019.1.0.f2 ? Getting a bunch of errors if i include it in a fresh project:

    Hello. You already second who get these errors on start. I send package with the 2018.3 and there was not any problems. Also take a look at the folder from dependencies are. It is something unity collaboration files. But I have not included any of them in my code...

    Is play mode works? I'll try to check it with your version

    Hi there. There is a problem with the manifest.json. It's contatins missing packages which unavailable in 2019 version.

    FIX STEPS:

    1. Open Unity Editor.
    2. Edit manifest file. It located in 'YourProjectName/Packages/Manifest.json
    3. Open manifest with any text editor

    question

    is inventory extendable..right? we can add as slot as we want?


    some suggestions for futures updates..
    - add ladder sounds
    - bow/crossbow with arrow pickup and reuse
    - zombie ai( and melee ai in general)

    this kit is going to be great..

    Yes you right. You can edit inventory slots and it's layout as you need. I keep in my zombies and I will release them as I said.

    Hello, I removed that scene and assets because they looked bad as for me.

    You can easy add your own. Just put ObjectHealth script on object you want to destroy and apply dead prefab to the special field.

    Hi everyone! V1.2 new features are finished now. Only editor scripting and code review left. It was hard but I implemented all the features you requested (if I forgot something write me after release). The code of the project get +50-60% of initial size. I'm completely sure that you will like it. Controller and weapons much more smooth now. Inventory still in progress but it works fine and no bugs found at this moment. I'll finish update in 2-3 days I think. So thanks for you all for patience and I hope that you will get asset that have no any analogs on the store. Main idea of asset was to give you all needed functionality to start creating your own fps survival/simulator. Now I'm on my way to bring you one of the best core for the best price. Thanks again for people who interested in my work.

    Hey man ..nice video and new update seems great ....cant wait to get my hands on it.. hope zombie behavior could be customizable so we can have differet type of zombies.. (fast, slow ,ect) and hope you cna give me some infos on how i can get ai (zombie and standard ) to work out of the box since before purchase i asked to you if i could eventually use it on my own project for test and you told me that AI surely work out of the box... btw.. great work..
