[RELEASED] Control Freak 2 - Multi-platform Input System.

    hi I m looking for a android mobile first person controller, that runs with the new lightweight renderpipline and the new ui-camera-system - all my older mobile projects do not work with 2019 and the LWRP (because (my state of research) the LWRP does not allow a second (canvas-) camera. (Or I do not get the idea here)
    so at the moment, I have to work with older versions of unity - because I couldn t find any controller-asset that works with 2019 and LRWP (and i do not have the time to code it). I d like to export my android-scenes to webgl with the lightweight RP (looks better) BUT it s cooler to navigate with the mobile-first-person-controller-button in the webgl-browser and with the mouse. (works with older assets and older unity-versions and its easier than WASD)
    so: does ControlFreak 2 support unity 2019 and the LWRD? and: does the first-person-mobile-controller work with webgl? thx a lot.

    Mhm, what I mean: https://gallery-whitte.net/land-art/ The Scenes are built with Unity 2018.4, if I open my projects with 2019 and LWRP, the Controller-Images are not shown on the UI canvas, so do the Control-Freak-Controllers work with 2019-UI system?

    Hello, after converting the scripts in our project we're unable to Play the scene and let the CF2 assistant capture inputs. We get an error saying "UnityInputSource.cs(68,21): error CS0103: The name 'ControlFreak2' does not exist in the current context". UnityInputSource.cs being OOTII's character controller input class.

    Thoughts?

    Men!!!
    It’s one thing purchasing an asset
    It’s another thing getting it to work in your project
    I am trying to set up CF2 in my project which is a Topdown shooter game
    I got the controller keys to work well, the fire,pause,scroll bar all works well to mobile
    The part I have issues with is implementing the mouse x and y delta to work as a track pad in my game which isn’t even working at all
    Any idea how I can do that

    I been having the same problem for the past 3 days I used the ultimate character controller intergration all my buttons work fine but my look pad and joystick do not work on mobile device. I'm about to buy a new virtual joystick this is ridiculous

    This method worked for me hope it works for you but try clicking on
    (Solved)I ended up purchasing another joystick and had the same problem. So I tried using the key targets instead vertical w,s horizontal a,d and it works perfectly on both cf2 and the new joystick. For some reason mouse movement had to be separate so I made a touch pad with using only mouse x, and one only using mouse y and it worked. Hope this helps someone else

    Well i am glad you solved it
    I figured a work around tho
    Now i am at the part where gradle out error is giving me the worst set back of my life
    Can you succesfully build using gradle for google play
    If you can please what unity version sdk and ndk are you using

    Hi everyone,

    For android devices, I build my project with -Scripting Backend - Mono under Player Settings/Other Settings menu, it succesfully works, but when i build my project with - Scripting Backend - IL2CPP only Look Trackpad is working. Movement joystick and other buttons (fire, jump, run etc.) not working. I tried several ways to solve this issue but noway. This supports build with IL2CPP? If so, how can i fix this issue?

    hi
    i have a system that uses IPointerDownHandler rather than input.mouse... etc
    control freak doesnt seem to work with it.

    i put a touch zone with mouse 0 but the script with IPointerDownHandler doesn not register the event.

    thanks for any help

    I'm trying to build a game for android and I'm using control freak 2 for car controls. I'm getting a warning when I test build, something about "onmouse" scripts that will affect android game play. How do I fix that?

    i am using gamepad input and one of the input is FaceBottom what botton is that on the controller x or y

    Hello Dan,
    I try to add CF2 controler to unity 2020 demo « Karting microgame » to use with mobile device

    At script conversion is I choose to convert keyboardinput.cs script, I have a compile error "The name 'ControlFreak2' does not exist in the current context"
    I I choose to convert arcadkart.cs that is doing xbox joystick capture, I have no error but nothing is captured with CF2 assistant.

    Do you have an advice ?

    I have a question to ask.
    1.Bought Control Freak 2.
    2. Ran Script converter.
    Upon conversion i get the following errors : The name 'ControlFreak2' does not exist in the current context.

    I have tried to fix this with "using ControlFreak2" but that doesnt fix the issue. Script converter messed up my scripts. Can you help me out?

    Same problem! CF2 Buttons are working on Editor But not on mobile ?

    I've had the same problem. I sent an email. Would be nice to have some kind of solution posted in this or another thread if more than one person has had the same problem.
